The balancing is deep enough to be mentioned. When you already have a balanced game (PoE 1), you can start from there and won't be destroying the players' fun. I feel like their meetings balanced the game around slowing the player down, by making maps more punishing, and gambling instead of the actual game loop and how the players would feel about it, you know what I mean?

They use the skin of the ''we are simple dudes and we are transparent'', but at the end of the day, they are a company with bills, employees to pay, and money aspirations. It was my fault to believe all the things they said in the past months/years before release.

It's very questionable how much you degrade and condemn GGG without really knowing anything about them.

Would you do this in other communities too? Let's say you start playing "Rogue Trader" and then say "well, Owlcat's next update is definitely not going to be good" even though people who have a much longer insight into their work can prove you otherwise, for example how Owlcat improved Pathfinder!?

I have no problem listening to other opinions, but when something like this (they only want our money) comes from someone who has only been there for a few months, only has a lvl 3 and lvl 24 character in PoE1, but still makes strange statements - which sound more like Reddit Bubble, then I view this with caution.

This GGG worships is actually kinda weird. You must be new, in the Honeymoon Phase, because to someone like me who has been around since 0.8c, GGG are the absolute MASTERS of Hype.

They have ALWAYS overpromised and underdelivered. It's their MO. Think on this, in the last FIVE years of working on PoE2, they were only able, after MULTIPLE delays, they only managed to produce a half-finished game, with a bolted on Path of Exile endgame, so they don't look like they broke a promise by not having ANY endgame in PoE2.

Until you let go of your worship, we cannot really talk to you, because you will not accept anyone who doesn't agree with your masters.

I wasn't going to buy a PoE 2 key. I've been fooled by companies, like every gamer that pays for a product that promises an 8/10, you realistically expect a 5/10, and they deliver a 2/10. But I saw the interviews with Jonathan and Mark. Not only the last ones, I am interested in this game since it was announced with the Monk gameplay. And he was speaking as if he had an actual good product about to be release, he literally claims PoE 2 is ''the best ARPG ever made'', and he doesn't say ''building the best ARPG with the community'', he straight claims it and that's it. He says that GGG can do live service gaming better than anyone else, etc. The interviews are there, mi cielo hermosa, I am not speaking hyperbole.

So, when the expectations are so, so high, and coming precisely from the side that should be humble about it, you enter in a hype state. You believe their words and prepare for the best. And the only thing that we have agreed until now, is that this is not the best. It is far from the best. Is the opposite to the best. The best, and PoE 2, have never met. The best would spit PoE 2 end game in the face, and then Vaal it.

I got to respect your opinion before, even tho I have no idea how much PoE 1 or how much you play any kind of games, mi preciosa corazón salvage, you should do the same. Don't act like the lonely mentally ill people that got to introduce us, because you stated you are not, and I believe you. Don't dissapoint me with your judgment like GGG did with their game, mi cielito lindo.

Why do you think I never got past 70? I got tired of having them underdeliver League after League.

I'm sorry this doesn't sit well with you, but I've got a lot of experience with GGG's inability to deliver what they overhype. I'm not the only one.

But again, all you're doing is trying to insult me and insinuate that I'm lesser because PoE bored me with it's unfun at higher level gameplay

Also, I've deleted a lot of characters over the years. Not sure if I got one higher than 70 mind you. It's been 13 or so years.

Can you show me one thing you said that was a fact. Just cuz you think it's true doesn't mean it is.

GGG overpromises and underdelivers to a degree that no other company is allowed to get away with.

And it's because people like you who worship the ground they walk on and give them a pass because they're nice in interviews, that lets them think all is fine. People like you are the reason the game is in the state it is.

I personally prefer actions to words. Talk is cheap. And they've yet to deliver. Though that I am here means I am STILL willing to give them a chance.

I'm probably a sucker for doing so, but I want them to succeed. I'm just disappointed they can't seem to make simple things work.

However, one day they might and I want to be there.
