[3.23 Cold Conversion Blade Vortex Elementalist / Occultist (League Starter + League Finisher)

Hey guys, so I decided to give this build a try. Currently I'm running Determination, Zealotry, HOA, HOP, Defiance banner and I still can, potentially, fit one more 50% aura into my build. What should I use, Grace?
Also, right now I have 95% suppress chance and can't understand where I can get 5% more, any advice? Here is my PoB: https://pobb.in/A5Ip-y6uOtY3 |

" Are you not running Hatred? If not, that's almost certainly what you want, unless you want to trade off an enormous chunk of damage for Grace. |

" I checked the POB, I'm not seeing that there's enough for another aura, but I am seeing a lack of Vaal BV, which is beyond necessary for the build to feel as intended. Absolutely worth giving up having a level 21 gem if you can't afford a 21/Vaal |

" The only other aura option would be Haste, but keep in mind that you need to get your mana cost to at least 1 for inspiration support to provide damage, because otherwise you won't generate charges. And of course if you only have 0 mana cost because of inspiration, then you can't just trade it out to solve the issue. Try a lower tier craft on one of your rings. 5 more suppress would be difficult without going for a little more on the tree, which you could get if you got the mastery instead of the points around Magebane, and dropped a couple other points elsewhere (like faith and steel, and doing breath of rime instead of heart of ice) |

Hey! Thank you for the guides and content, I'm having a lot of fun with this build so far, and trying to push this further in SSF.
I dropped a +3 BV, 15% reservation replica dragonfang + heatshiver so I had to try this, here is my current character : https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Pourliver/characters or https://poe.ninja/builds/ancestorssf/character/Pourliver/PenisDeTailleMoyenne?i=3&search=name%3Dpenis I'm still looking for a few upgrades like - Whisper of doom (Assassin's mark) - Militant Faith jewel - Phys as extra cold implicit on Asphyxia's Wrath - Phys converted to cold Watcher's eye / gloves - Some way to get more movement speed since I'm slow AF. As you'd expect I am very squishy, slow MS and my DPS isn't high enough to one-shot everything map related (about ~6m, 8m soon) so I'd love to know if you have a few other self-found tips? " That's a tough one given that it's SSF, because you're missing some crucial components for the Occultist, namely the Timeless Jewel and the Vast Power clusters. I also think you rushed adding zealotry, which forced you to spend tons of points on the left side of the tree but without having enough to get a second cluster going or even reach the +1 Power Charge. With heatshiver you'd probably get decent value from Herald of Ash Consider using an elemental weakness in your Mark of Submission as well (but only if you're reliably freezing what you're farming) Tattoos could help a little but I have no idea how feasible that'd be in SSF. Whatever you do, you need to get your critical strike chance WAY up, you're sitting at ~70% even with brittle, which is no where near enough. |

Played some other builds earlier in the league and decided to gamble away most my currency before ending this league, but.... now i'm back. I decided to try this build you since i had a leveled witch. So far It's been great, but i have a few questions.
What would be the best upgrade for me currently? (disregard gem levels, currently leveling em, and it shouldnt be long til 20/20). Struggling a bit to see where to focus my currency, besides large and relatively expensive upgrades like the impossible escape jewel/+2 weapon etc. I sometimes gets, what i asume is, stunned and that is sometimes pretty fatal vs big group of enemies, is there any good way to deal with that before you have the damage to wipe out mot packs immediately? " I can't completely disregard gem levels, because you don't want to be leveling Vortex/Arcane Surge. A level 1 vortex is all that's needed and anything more just costs more mana. Aside from that, you're definitely at a point where you'd need to focus on improving your weapon/jewels/jewellery or start saving for some much bigger upgrades. Not sure how to address the being stunned issue beyond the pantheon, you could try a flask suffix as well perhaps |
