Have no interest in starting over in new league

The point I was making is that a continually resetting league with no new content is not as attractive as permanent standard league that would receive novel updates. I'm not advocating for either of those scenarios. I think players should be allowed to experience the new content in whichever environment they genuinely prefer. The plan for 0.3+ onwards doesn't permit this.

Exhibit A:
The game continues with its current model of seasonal leagues. New content brought in will only be accessible by restarting on new league. Any new changes that bork your old characters whether it be passive skills or items you had is swept into dumpster (standard) league. No thought into fixing or balancing this because “fresh start” for everyone. Exhibit B: New content is available to all, including your existing characters. Balances to passives and items are thought out before implementing, without borking your existing builds. Along with standard, a separate seasonal ladderboard server will also be available for those who wish to participate for bragging rights. Which do you think will healthier for the longevity of the game and player base? |

Honestly, I don't even care (to an extent) if my current toons get borked by Balance changes, so long as they were timely nerfs/buffs. It would mean that devs are actively looking at the skills/items/classes instead of a single slew of changes every 5 months.

It's a truly simple solution: turn on all content across all realms. Those that want to play it in the league environment will play it. Those that want to play it in Standard will play it.
