" You should really tone down your caffeine input boy ! Even so I somewhat agree with your post it is as empty as it is agressive. If you want to argue you should use this things called "arguments", I heard they work wonders in this kind of situations. (In other words at least name builds or ideas for builds if you want to rant like that.) On topic: I think just the fact to be able to use quantity and quality supports early instead of a 4L + defense makes this item great. Also the manacost early is sustainable if you use some of the "weaker" or less popular supports. There is no need to use GMP and Chain all game. Its clear that you will replace the item sooner or later for a 5L/6L with a huge defensive bonus, but that does not mean it can be very usefull for a long time. |

Or if you have multiple skills that can benefit from same supports you can 5L 2 skills or 4L 3 skills on that robe. So for example if you had one skill for mobs and other for bosses and you used same two support on both of them, with that chest you could have both skills on only one pair of supports(free up the slots on rest of your items) and throw in IIR/IIQ to booth. Let's be serious guys, as amazing as it is, the robe isn't a good item for anything other than testing, placeholding for a better piece, and, to a lesser extent, leveling.
It's simple: In the endgame, there is absolutely no scenario in which this robe will be the optimal choice. For a specific build, you'll be always be able to find a 6link with the appropriate colours and, of course, stats. What makes Tabula Rasa nice (apart from the flavour) is the flexibility. It's cheap, has no level requirements, and can help with leveling up builds that require several support gems, as well as test new ideas, and be a placeholder until you achieve your desired 6link armour. |
