+4 on boss tree is stupid, stop it with the "1 shots"
" The "eHP" calculations on ninja can be pretty misleading sometimes. Do you know if the ES displayed there is including the flat amount being obtained from discipline on the sceptre and applying the increases? Either way that's a ludicrous amount of energy shield and I know with eternal life it's got a 10% DR against hits for the first 37k of damage so 40k phys hit is pretty reasonable. I wonder what sort of thing a character with that much ES actually fears - Arbiter fight maybe? And while were here does anyone actually know what the +1 difficulty actually does to the bosses? My first guess is that each +1 gives 10% hp and 10% damage bonus, bringing it up to 40%/40% - which can be multiplicative with the "empowered boss" bonuses you get on the zone itself or from a tablet, which I'm pretty sure is a 30% increase to life/damage (don't quote me on this). The 1-shots are a temporary solution to deal with the SC trade players, who overgear overpower everything on day 2, no? This probably will not change.

" it increases their damage and hp,, idk how much it increases thier damage.. but thier hp goes WAYYYYY UP.. like at least 5+ times higher.. like 10 million range i can survive a single slams from +3 if i screw up but +4 is absurd also.. to the people telling me " i need more armor" or " im not building tanky" like stfu and go back to playing dark souls im ~rank 55 in all of effective hp on wolf druid also im not just saying "incoming damage is too high" ALL damage is too high you people are seroiusly comparing this to fromsoft games? becuase fromsoft is famous for literally having your character explode screen of monsters in 1 button press... this is the "diablo 2" genre and yes I DO THINK DAMAGE IS WAY TOO FUCKING HIGH outgoing as well lastly no " not being 1 shot" doesnt make you "immortal" this game has fucking health pot.. if i run out of health pot charges in a boss fight.. it means im getting hit too often. THATS WHAT ITS THERE FOR i dont have a problem being chunked to half hp and dying if i get hit twice in quick succession. i have an issue when im literally being as tanky as i can reasonably make my build. and being 1 tapped.. from FULL hp.. FULL energy shield, on what is basically as tanky as its possible to make a wolf build AND YES.. BEING IN THE TOP 50 IN EFFECTIVE HP IS BUILDING TANKY the *average* wolf build has less than HALF my effective hp i want to be able to ENJOY a boss fight.. that means the boss not melting in 4 seconds.. and it means ME not dying in 1 shot and right now i cant do EITHER +3 bosses melt before i can even start to have fun. and +4 bosses have a good amount of hp but just 1 shot me back damaging incoming and outgoing is too high.. and IF YOU ACTUALLY WANTED THE GAME TO BE MORE LIKE ELDEN RING you would HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ENTIRE SCREENS WORTH OF ENEMIES BEING FUCKING 1 SHOT and bosses melting in 4 seconds. It's hard to grasp what exactly ggg wants from this game, tbh.

I got killed from T15 (6 mods) map Bosses even with only 4 points spent at Boss Atlas tree. Most of them doing something, had no idea what to do and when.
You can tell to learn the Bosses, but how can I do that if no more chance, no more revive, death penalty, and so on. Sorry but I can not read those silent hand codes coming from them. When a Boss rise one hand and the other is on his hip, then step away to where? There is no sign on the ground where the Hit will come. This is supposed to be an Arpg game, not a mini Wow Boss fights. There is even better shown where to NOT stand in Wow. Here it is almost impossible in most Boss fights to avoid those hits. |

The 1 shot doesn't work well because the visuality is bad, they are really bad at designing boss patterns, compared to all the games i have played before. I've gave up and just play op build nowadays, playing a bad build is a skill issue -> That is their vision :)

" FWIW OP, I consider this a positive, not a negative. I don't want to be the Godslayer. I want to be a scrappy outsider who backed into saving the world even though I didn't particularly want to. Think Morrowind, not Skyrim. I think it's a good thing if there are map nodes that you have to avoid because they are too difficult, if there are bosses you never fight unless you're completely focused as a player. This is the #1 reason I prefer PoE2 over PoE.
