0.3.1 Hotfix

It's odd. They said at some point they wanted boss fights to be meaningful.

Now they put a boss in every single map in end game.

You need to be able to kill them as fast as possible, otherwise you end up dying and loosing XP.

I have seen no posts ever asking for these changes.

So who came up with these bright ideas and why? Do they even play the game themselves to feel how it plays?

my feedback is as follows:

- When using "MAX IMAGE QUALITY": "NVIDIA DLAA" the game often turns black and I see the "grinding gears" when dense monster population is encountered. Was already the case with 0.3, so not specific to 0.3.1. Using "MAX IMAGE QUALITY": "Quality" solved this for me.

- I love the removal of the towers. I see the point of too much grinding / trading for tables. Please consider raising uses per tablet and upping quality / quantity once again.

- I don't know if evasion was really nerfed but since 0.3.1 I tend to get hit more often and when I get hit it really HURTS. I have no GIGA-char, only pinnacle content Tier 1 (T15+ fully juiced maps). I play pure evasion, no Energy Shield since I believe in this class fantasy. 64 % evasion when moving and 61 % to deflect for 40 %.

- Maybe it's skill issue and I am too slow, but I sometimes die to really stupid sh***. Did a runestone boss summon event. There the ape from Act 3 was summoned and insta hit me whith his pillar and so I was insta dead.

- It's REALLY hard to see and spot rogue exiles. Maybe skill issue again but for me they should be special but I just can't spot them in masses of white mobs.

Do not bring back rare icons, or if you do make it an options that can be enabled. It's apparent that you increased number of rare monsters per map and I don't really want to see my map packed with those icons.

Please bring an option to show rare icons again and raise quant and rarity on tablets a little more. endgame maps alone feel pretty useless now. its not worth playing them anymore for currency.
Farming rares is infinitely more profitable from a currency standpoint than it is to kill bosses. I juice maps to increase rare monster spawns and currency/tier 0/1 uniques. I have run bosses with an extra modifier, spirit infuses, and irradiated the entire league and have rarely seen anything other than terrible tier 4/5 gear that has a T1 Reduced Attribute requirement tied too it. Perhaps this is hyperbolic.. However, the rare icons felt good. When you opened a brand new map and saw 4 rares or 20 on a map gave you a dopamine hit on what this map could be worth.

Additionally, it feels infinitely harder to guide a wisp to a rare now. Sometimes maps just dont have many. If I know a rare is right around the corner. Its worthwhile for me to guide the wisp, but if its across the map. I dont bother.. I'm sure many treat it the same.


Give us an optional choice of rare monster completion or map boss completion.

PS: How about the ability to pull a tab from our stash in the tablet area. That way we dont have to close the atlas just to put in a new tablet every 2-3 maps. Small request that should benefit the entire community.

They dont even log to game using their own standalone client, if they did, then they would knew about existing bug in both clients for og PoE and secondary project, which display login email while typing it, regardless of opted-in 'Hide login email' in options.

I stand corrected.
Using "MAX IMAGE QUALITY": "Quality" did not solve this for me. I got 4-5 black screens with the grinding gears today alone.
This patched seems to have changed the Elites in Trial of Sekhemas. The bosses seem normal but the elites are hugely stronger now, They seem to have multiple additional modifiers. Many of these additional modifiers make the Elites way too difficult.

The map I did was I think a lvl76 map, i have run Sekhemas many times and have even already redone my Ascension on this very character, so this was quite a noticable change.
