" I don't even know what damage type that shroud walker thing is supposed to be. i have all my elemental res capped, 71% chaos res, i have Catalysis and Melting Flames, over 20k armor, almost 3k hp, and it's still annoying to fight on warrior. wouldn't be surprised if it was bugged and had some wonky interaction causing it to deal way more dmg than supposed to. |

All the things you're talking about are "take it or leave it" kind of stuff which can't be changed anymore imo.
Actually you can; let's kick Tencent out and replace CEO's of GGG? Impossible. Try to have some fun in beta and leave it when it transforms into PoE1 completely. Neden yaşıyorsun?

" Well this is why their vision is failing. It really seems like they want you to zooom zoom blast through maps and then somehow it switches to dark souls when fighting a boss. Those two cant coexist unless mob density and all the events are removed/redone. All of them are swarm zerg style events. Then all damage needs nerfed across the board or all health pools needs x10 to remove one shots all around if this is the vision they want. When abyss rares are tankier and more deadly than bosses they screwed up scaling very badly if their goal is long dark souls style boss fights. But we cant have them in a game like this. The slow 1v1 combat even in maps will never work. |

I supported what I was expecting. I didn't play poe 1. I wanted exactly what poe 2 was promising. I was expecting paced thoughtful combat with a myriad of viable build combinations. That idea of combat is utterly destroyed by the game design. The people who wanted that style can't play the endgame which is supposedly "The game" as quoted from the community. That is what they sold us newcomers.

Like a mobile game. People that actually want to play a game have no interest in such play style. |

" CORRECT. You can't say just make it "Fast 1 click blow up the screen" for mobs, and "Slow methodical" for bosses. If you can move at the speed of light to mow down mobs, that speed of light movement, 2 screen wide aoe attacks, and 10 attacks/cast per second will still exist in the boss room. Your character doesn't just lose power in the presence of the boss. You can't swarm the players with 1000 monsters and then turn around and say "ok when you enter the boss room you're going to get a methodical fight". We need QUALITY monsters, and not QUANTITY of monsters. " That's the reason for this thread. THERE IS NO CONSISTENCY in their design. So many of the support gems, skills with fixed times, nodes on the tree will never work in the current game. Yet they keep talking about combo gameplay. Poe 1 doesn't have combo gameplay and it never will. If they choose the poe 1 way they legit have to redo so many gems, remove combos, and redo a bunch of the tree as well. |

With more loot dropping, and more loot dropping, and more loot dropping. They kept demanding more and more, and GGG just kept going. Giving even more dopamine each time. GGG they tried to take it back but were met with backlash cause the audience they catered too only wants more and more and more. They want to go faster. They want to 1-shot even harder, and farm maps even faster. That's how poe 1 got to it's current state. |
