helmet enchantment?
cluster jewels?
watchers eye?
better threat of hope (-11 max resistence)?
more DPS gear (shield and weapon)?
life on shield?
lvl 21 - 20% archmage supp?
POB:
i'd imagine with your crit chance, you aren't keeping EO up that much so the DPS on PoB is probably inflated.
so what should i do ? crit chance is coming from that amulet. normally i got no crit chance at all
crafted mana flows on my amulet for another 50k DPS

Just being curious: What do you all consider "decent arc crit chance" ? 8% ? 10% ? 12% ?
Enough to keep Elemental Overload up most of the time.
If 1 / crit chance / casts per second (* 2 if you use Spell Echo) < 8 sec, then you probably need more.

You might be able to just move one node on your tree, i can't see what your cluster setup is... but there is a node that will get you to like 6% which will be "decent"
Are flask clusters actually that useful? Mana flask is only a small part of total recovery, after all, and the only other useful effect from them is +% max mana. I'm considering aura effect clusters instead, or skipping mediums entirely.
Yeah I'm not sure either. I'm using curse based medium cluster right now to boost conductivity + having culling strike and unnerve for cursed enemies. The name for the notables is Tempt the Storm/Wish for Death/Master of Fear. Getting all of them on a single jewel is impossible so I use two. Boosting wrath should also be a good option, especially since we can get culling strike/unnerve on gloves.
Before I got decent arc crit chance I was even using a crit based medium cluster. It has some interesting effects like
* (Pressure Points) small chance to deal double damage on crit despite having elemental overload
* (Quick Getaway) increase movement if crit recently
on top of overall crit chance it provides.
Honestly, I don't think there are any medium clusters worth the opportunity cost. You could maybe do one with increased effect of non-damaging ailments, but considering how conditionally we're applying them, I think the points are better spent on the actual tree.
Wanted some resists (or basically anything useful!) but never mind, decent belt either way - that damage boost vs. chilled mobs really helps boost damage too since Corpse Pact inflicts chill.

Maybe I don't really get major benefits of flask notables? I'm not sure if mana flask recovery effects are that valuable, and don't need power charges since EO is already constantly up. Max mana is nice, but it's easily found on passive tree. For example we could take the nodes near shaper, grabbing a jewel socket for additional %life+%mana, for 3 points.
Also, I don't think culling strike + unnerve for cursed enemies are that conditional though, especially if you put conductivity on trigger wand, so enemies are automatically cursed. Even if we get good unnerve gloves, it's still 10% apply chance only. The cluster jewel setup instead allows us to apply unnerve reliably before we hit stuff with arc. So we get both the 10% more from unnerve and roughly 11% more from culling strike. Of course this fails to function in hexproof maps, but for most major boss fights they'll matter a lot, for example Sirus last phase. On the other hand, this allows us to focus on good life/mana/res on gloves. In harvest we could get everything on gloves, but right now even mediocre culling/unnerve fingerless silk gloves sell for tens of exalts.
