" The ONLY reason you'd use Chain is because you're not using a secondary damage spell to proc EO so you can't afford the crit penalty from Controlled Destruction. In your case, it's just flat-out worse, even if you get the awakened version (which costs an arm and a leg). |

Okay, here to report my latest.
So I got insanely lucky today and found a trinket in a grand heist that I was able to immediately liquidate for 21 ex. The good news is that I've finally gotten my gear in a decent place and should be able to make some gameplay vids. Damage without flasks is at 5m+ DPS. My PoB is having some glitch where all the pastebin links I try to export are giving an error message when I try to import them...pretty frustrating now that I actually have something to share. " Nice! Btw, the pastebin link doesn't seem to work for me. I don't have as much DPS, probably around 4m with regular RF. I decided to build more on the defensive aspect, since every time my arc hits a huge group of cannot die enemy the fps literally drops to 0 for 1~2 sec, during which my chance of dying is around 50%. I crafted the shield partly for this reason, but it seems it's not enough. I'm tinkering with shield charge + fortify as an alternative movement skill, to get that sweet 20% damage reduction... " Of course, always glad to give input. And yes, I searched the PoB error and it looks like other people on reddit were having the same issue within the last day or so. Hopefully it's resolved within another day. Is anyone else NOT having this issue? Can't see your character. Are you running Vaal Arc? That's my immediate solution for dealing with cannot die auras, it usually works instantly. But fewer of us are running the Vaal version this league because of alternate quality. (Storm Brand is also pretty good for dispatching the aura source but probably wouldn't save you if you're lagging to death.) Fortify is really, really good. I'll be curious how it works out in practice. My two reservations are the loss of mobility (slower/cannot cross gaps) and the inherent danger of putting yourself within melee range to get the buff. That said, I feel like I spend a lot of time in melee range these days because that's where zoom-zoom gets you. My go-to suggestions for improving defense in this build are more mana/recovery and more block chance. One of those is obviously easier to get than the other! Hey guys
I'd love to start with a fact that I'm completely new to this game and it's my first character. So I've managed to get 4.4k HP and 4.6k mana, I've got every gem that's pointed in this guide and eq that I could afford (ofc according to this build). The problem is that I constantly run out of mana after using arc four times. While I'm able to clear mobs, bosses are the main problem since my mana flasks are empty and so is my mana. You've got any tips for me what I can improve so I could fully enjoy this build withouth spending tons of money? |
