Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

I agree, the flask notables are nice, sure, but flasks are essentially irrelevant to our life and mana recovery once you've got the build's sustain engine finely tuned.

Sorry, I missed your suggestions. Master of Fear and Wish for Death actually look really good if you're running Hextouch. Great suggestion! I'll look at them later.
Ok I play Arc every season, but I dont know what to upgrade next or what to respec.

Spoiler
Good day. I 6L my Cloak of Defiance in about 110 fusings, bought this dagger for 59c, and made an 80c sale.
Anybody knows since when can experimented base types drop with ilvl>83? That's one of the most complained thing about them before, but now I'm seeing lots of ilvl 86 stuff. Guess it's time to craft another meme shield and sell the current one for cheap...

(ele resist caps at ilvl 85, and shaper ele caps at ilvl 86)

Edit: crafted a new one and it didn't get max res.

The weights aren't even that low! I guess I really used up all my luck this league when I obtained 5ex from emperor's luck and a fiend from regular heist.

The old shield is for sale for 6ex now.

6ex just barely covers the awakener's orb + redeemer's orb. If you like having both on block effect and a good looking shield this is your chance! (sorry for advertising)

Recent patch gave them +(1-3) extra item levels.

A large radius Thread of Hope is probably your biggest room for cost-effective improvement atm, aside from sorting out the low maximum life rolls on your gear.

What I did with Enki's basic trade links was to manually increase the amount of required life from 50-70 to 70-120 depending on slot, because the former values were on the low side and should only be considered when really on a tight budget.
Greetings!
First of all: lots of thanks for Enki and everyone who committed to the build update!
Small question: if I use Anomalous Arcane Cloak, would helm enchant like "arcane cloak spens additional mana" work or would I need to change the gem to "normal" version?
Thanks!
I was looking at upgrading my Mind Drinker annointment earlier, and found that the recommended high budget Mana Flows was actually a little lacking compared to certain alternatives that have comparable or lesser oil cost.

In the first place, the core pretext of running a maximum mana-based annointment is to provide a significant buffer to effective life without sacrificing too much dps, so I looked at other options that did similarly.

To that end, a few options stood out:

Druidic Rite - gives slightly more max mana and has additional flask charges and duration, at the expense of losing mana regen. Oil cost is slightly cheaper, costing Clear Crimson Golden compared to Mana Flows' Clear Opalesecent Golden.

Primal Spirit - basically the budget Mana Flows, almost identical stat profile, just slightly lesser mana regen, and trades a tiny amount of max mana for a tiny bit of max life at a significantly cheaper oil cost of Amber Silver Silver. Comes with 20% additional flask charges gained, but it's not that significant.

Arcane Chemistry - has slightly less max mana and no mana regen, but makes up the loss in mana regen with increased mana recovery from flasks and flask potency. Has a small but nice 10% bonus to reduced flask charges used. Again, it is slightly cheaper than Mana Flows at Amber Teal Golden.

Honourable Mentions:

Arcane Swiftness - still somewhat in the theme of balancing survivability and damage, this option gives extra attack block chance, spell damage based on attack block and cast speed, but has no max mana or mana regen. This option, however, has significantly higher dps than other options on this list, and can definitely be considered if you have >50% block rate overall and have the ability to recover % mana on block somewhere in your gear. It is cheaper than Mana Flows at Clear Silver Silver oil cost. (small note: this is basically the attack block counterpart of Arcane Guarding, of which is part of the recommended skill tree)

Deflection - similar to Arcane Swiftness, but takes the defensive aspect to the extreme at the expense of offense with a significant amount of attack, spell and projectile block. No max mana or mana regen. It is significantly cheaper than Mana Flows at Sepia Teal Opalescent.

Have seen a lot of people using cloak of defiance instead of an offering chest. Is the mana regeneration better for survivability?

A few pages earlier someone posts an alternative tree where you path to arcane swiftness and anoint command of steel instead. This fully utilizes block chance to achieve high DPS. Since it requires significantly changing the tree I'm not doing it myself, but certainly once you reach good mana sustain you can consider playing with other options.
