Devs, Buff ARMOR Before ur going to vacation

currently many players are playing on the left side of the tree
using armor or armor+es it SUCKS IT is bad in so many different ways bot pure armor and armor+es feel bad it feels like ur wearing a cloth armor and not a plate armor and because armor by itself sucks armor+es also sucks also Talisman is a 2h weapon u cant equip a shield whit it so ur extra extra squishy ARMOR MUST FEEL GOOD how come the game is OUT for a YEAR! and u didnt buff armor yet ? half of my passive points are in defenses and i feel squishy as hell like im wearing cardboard and not armor i swapped to armor +es ,it also sucks. devs PLEASE BUFF ARMOR BEFORE UR GOING TO VACATION! What Melee classes need, Is a way to scale Guard like spellcasters do ES

Armor isn't ideal, but in its current state, it's not that bad. For the last two seasons, I've been playing a pure 2-handed weapons Warrior (Smith of Kitava) and I haven't had much trouble even in T15 maps or bosses, except for a few bosses that one-shot just about anyone (Monkey). But it's important to remember that armor is just one of the defense layers if you want use pure STR armor.
- Life - Armor - Armor apply to elemental damage - Damage taken conversion - Life regen / leech / Damage recuperation These individual layers need to be balanced to work well. This work well for me ... In 0.3, I had 8k armor, 120% apply to elemental damage, 30% physical to fire conversion, 400 life per second regen, and around 4.1k life - 2h hammer without shield In 0.4, I have 17k armor, 150% apply to elemental damage, 30% physical to fire conversion, 200 life per second regen, and around 3.7k life - Bear talisman Zuletzt bearbeitet von Gryzzex#3752 um 21.12.2025, 17:36:27

IMO armour is currently closer to ideal balance than ES is. The problem really isn't armour itself, it's moreso tad bit too low life for many builds; and that ascendancies which do not give significant enough defenses are not very playable as life+ev or life+armor.
Current EHP king especially vs mixed type damage (like phys attack with convert 30% of damage to fire etc) is Titan. Bear shaman can also get pretty high. But all other non-ES setups are well below ES setups in terms of EHP vs biggest hits. Shaman is prolly the only ascendancy that really allows going both ES and Armor without that being a hindrance rather than an asset. Maybe Warbringer could do it too.
