The Problem Isn't Jonathan
" They are sadly - making game for casuals with mechanics for hardcore players so no one exacly can enjoy game 0.1 was the best but not for casuals and they just make game like poe 1 in pace - while people who like core of gameplay poe 2 - didn't like this zooming and power creep |

The problem is that when one decides to make a game, You first have to have a roadmap / businessplan , allocate some money and when these things are somewhat settled you go into concept phase, before everything else is done. POE2 never has left the concept phase. They ares till actively working on what PoE2 should be . And are strill trying out concepts that should have been paved 6 years ago , at the start of development. Right now weare lightyears away from a concept set in stone that appeals to PoE1 players and newcomers alike. Jonathan Rogers is the game director of GGG - a position where you have to take responibility not just for the game but also your staff. letting poe1 dust off completely, overworking his staff, overscoping all the time, missing deadlines and still trying to marry isometric hack n slash with elden ring is beyond measure. Jonathan singlehandedly tainted the good name of GGG in the industry with his mismanagement. |

People need to remember that Mark is the one who is in charge of balance, and the game has so, so many balance related problems right now. Btw, it is strange for a person who only plays as a support role in group play to be in charge of balance in a game that is primarily a solo experience for most players. Is that why groups have such a huge advantage and why rarity affecting currency still hasn't been addressed after a year of people complaining about it?
