Endgame has too many monsters that die too fast. Zooming is boring.
Man whatever GGG doing is impossible to satisfy players. What were you expecting an ARPG game? Like a MMORPG style? Like Mounts? This is POE. You people just cant stop complaining. You don't like it you leave the game quitely.
I was not happy & satisfied on 0.2 and i left. Now i returned because new acts + interlude is big good job. |

" This is just the vocal minority. Most people enjoy the game. There is just this tiny-tiny fraction of the playerbase who complain more than they play. |

" You failed to comprehend this chain of comments properly. The fast screen clearing gameplay in POE 2 is what people expect out of an ARPG in higher levels and especially in path of exile endgame. This is different than dying in bf2 to 1 bullet which is not what they expect out of battlefield. People expect to be shot a few times before they die. "the same kind of interaction" isnt happening here, as screen clearing gameplay is what players expect and anticipate when they reach high levels/good builds in path of exile. When I say "I feel like this is like complaining to the cod devs about bullets kiling you too fast" I mean something along the lines of "when people shoot me I should live few at least 15 to 20 bullets please make the game slower." because that is directly going against the expected/standard game design of call of duty, just like asking poe 2 devs to remove screen clearing builds is going against path of exiles expected gameplay. Most people want to be able to clear the screen and kill hundreds of monsters per map. Zuletzt bearbeitet von OniJihn#0420 um 14.09.2025, 05:13:52

I think its awfully funny all the ppl who defend the game now bc they made it more like poe 1 where the ones on the forums complaining how poe 2 was a waste of time till it became what they wanted. I really wish the poe 1 players wouldn't run off everyone with a different opinion. Bc I bet there are a lot more playera who enjoy the engaging combat

" It's not different at all, you're just talking nonsense. And who is this arbitrarily defined group of people you talk of, I am also "people" and I don't have this expectancy at all. And I've seen many like myself as well. Moreover and more importantly, this is not what they've said PoE2 will be... they specifically said they want Engaging Combat/Good combat. One shotting screens of enemies is not engaging combat or good combat. I have specifically bought early access because of that reason, otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered with PoE2. then play a build that don't screen clear? i mean you don't like fast play and want to spend 30 minutes in a map make a slow build to do that then your problem is solved stop try to make the game for everyone how u want it

" Exactly my feelings... " You can't do that because of the amount of bs inherited from poe1 that oneshots you from offscreen. Basically what you're suggesting 1) play the shittiest build possible by making the shittiest decisions possible when building something 2) try to not blast an entire screen while doing that 3) somehow survive all the bs that is thrown at you, which exist only because the game needs a way to deal with builds that don't suck like yours Do you not realize where the problem with your logic is? |

" "Stop complaining and leave quietly" they said in response to feedback posted in the feedback section of an early access game. Seriously why are you even looking at this forum if you're tired of complaints? And why did you complain about the negative feedback instead of silently leaving like you suggest? |

On topic, I agree that there's a lack of difficulty in the end game, and that in my experience the midgame is maybe too easy as well. I hope at the very least we get something like higher tier trials or atlas bosses before too long. I'd prefer to not have maps be zooming/oneshot or get one shot gameplay like in poe1, but I think that's probably too much to ask for, and I'm just hoping they find a way to make side content that can slow things down and ramp up the difficulty.

The game had great vision of actual action combat instead of being another mindless screen exploder.
Deleting whole screens of mobs and cc'ing boss to the point he can't even move - you like to call it not a slog and a fun gameplay loop, but it's really where game stops happening, think about it. The struggle causes you to think, change your approach, adapt and grow with it - you actively play the game. As soon as you delete everything without a thought, your time would be better spend on cookie clicker games, you would be clicking and increasing some artificial number that doesn't even matter anymore from the start to finish, seems to be exactly what you expect this game to be. You would say that ruthless feels like a job, but the truth is different, what is really a job? An endless repetition. That's what exactly zooming is, every encounter looks the same and doesn't matter anymore. |
