Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On

Thank you, very smart changes. The patch and Huntress felt good to me but for those issues you’ve mentioned. Don’t cave in to the mob pressure, the game is special, just needs a lot of work.
They are still stubborn about the HUGE MAZE AREA MAPS which are atrocious to navigate.

And they still think the solution for that is to add MORE CONTENT inside a MAP I didnt even want to be in the first place..

We just have 3 acts. We need to pass through that nightmare of Utzaal 2 times before reaching maps..

Your map size should be at least 40% reduced in order to be a significant improvement, otherwise you'll just make it worse.

You guys fail to understand what is bothering us, and that is the reason why we keep seeing the same mistakes from PoE 1 being migrated here too, like if we didnt learn anything from past mistakes.

I feel overwhelmed. I dont see a solution for this anytime soon. This game needs at least 2 years to cook properly.
Please fix spectres when they go into whisp form to be resummoned they do not come back out, this is even worse than when minions were getting stuck in doorways

Dear GGG, its not about checkpoints, its about size of your locations, like you are trying to overcompensate something...

I really don't think they're playing their game. It makes no sense to keep adding checkpoints to everything. The maps don't make sense in their layouts, the campaign is endless, you have thousands of dead-end corridors, and they keep adding blue buttons to the map. I honestly don't understand the vision.

I LIKE THE GAME AND DON'T AGREE WITH "PROBLEMS" PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT. Do not make the game too easy the way that literally every over ARPG is. Please stay true to your vision.

Dude they literally keep making a hard game harder for the sake of it. I like that its a challenging game, but that doesn't mean you should have to spend 3 days trying to find skill/tree combinations that can beat the act 2 boss. None of the support gems or passives sound like they achieve anything for the player without the 7th sun rising for the 2nd time in a leap year.

Difficulty is already baked in.
Early Game
Dont : nerf player dps, speed. increase boss and monster health, REDUCE LOOT.
DO: BUFF THOSE THINGS. Its still going to be hard. But instead of 2 builds working in the campaign you'll have 6-8.
The Core Issue:
GGG’s response is a band-aid on a bullet wound. They’re fixing symptoms (monster HP, crashes) but ignoring the root cause — a systemic disconnect from their players.

Testing is a farce. How do you miss ascendancies missing at launch or rares mobs minions hp?

Early acts are still a slog. Even with 25% HP cuts, the campaign feels like a punishment, not a journey.

GGG claims to value “hardcore ARPG fans,” but their actions scream “we prioritize hype over loyalty.” PoE2 risks becoming a cautionary tale — a sequel so obsessed with its “vision” that it alienates the players who support the franchise.

Hahahaha... warrior not even mentioned when the best build is just default attack because you guys keep putting stupid attack times on melee to make it ungodly clunky with no payoff.

Boneshatter casually clearing screens in endgame right now using new Brink support. I am convinced you people don't even play the game you complain about.
I would highly recommend to consider reducing map size and white mob numbers (while increasing loot proportionately) before starting the whole buff-damage-nerf-hp dance that you did back in 0.1 and ultimately reverted because the result wasn't what you wanted.

If you want slower, meaningful gameplay, the solution isn't to help us kill them faster, but to make the fights more manageable and overall progress less tedious. Otherwise we're gonna end up back where we were at the end of 0.1 and no one wants to go through this drama a third time...
Give us free stash or skin as compensations
The "vision" of having meaningful combats don't exist when you have to do it on every white and blue mob, it becomes meaningless, repetitive, and dull. Even in Souls-like games you get bored when killing the same monsters over and over again, there's no fun in that kind of action.

I hating mashing my keyboard multiple times just to get one combo that deals only 25% of the rare monster's health...I had to press whirlwind slash 3 times + press frostbolt then press Barrage then press Twister to get one combo off. How can someone be expected to do this when they wanna put 200+ hours into the game every 3 or 4 months???? this is just stupid

Also build variety and build diversity don't exist. If you don't play the "correct" way you can't even finish the campaign. This is already an issue in POE1 where you have to follow certain formula for level just to quickly get through the campaign, but in POE2 this is just 10 times worst. Have you even considered the replay-ability?
