Another over aggressive and rude post towards the staff that will be ignored!
Congratz on wasting your time OP
OK, this one broke my brain. Was this a joke? Was it sarcasm? Was it actually someone chiming in to respond to only the thread's title without having read the post in question, this proving the point that OP was trying to make about knee-jerk toxicity being out of control on the forums? Is this forum just a shadow on the wall of a cave? I honestly can't tell anymore.
Stay sane, exiles!

I can't tell if you guys are being sarcastic or what. You revived the thread exactly after 4 weeks.

I want it to be a clever troll, but I have to assume it's coincidence. Hell of one too, if my math's not wrong, about 90 minutes shy of 4 weeks to the minute.

Guys guys, please. Before any conspiracy theories pop up: No one but me bumped it. There is a bump function most people probably don't know about:
If you are op of a thread, and no new post were made for the last 24 or 48 hours (dont know exactly), a "B"-Button under your name appears that lets you bump the thread for free.
It looks like this:

When I read that one, I was laughing and crying in my mind at the same time. I think that guy was absolutely serious and well... Sadly it prove my point. A topic title sets the mood for the entire topic and if it's toxic as hell, the comments will also be toxic as hell.

Forget the title above, it was completely clickbait and if you read this, it probably worked, because you didn't know what this thread was about, but you still clicked on it, just because the whole title is written very provocative and invites people who are either "against" or "in favour of" GGG.
It's sad to see that threads, that have strong provocative titles and content, often with little to none constructive feedback, generate more attention then actual well written feedback threads. This leads to a more and more toxic writing-behavior and in return lessens our impact on the game, because (passive-)aggressive posts often contain alot of emotion, but seldom suggestions on how to make something better.
If you read through some of these hot topics, it's very often not about the game anymore. People are offended from each other and try to defend their point of view by attacking others. Here and there someone tries to make a sound argument, but especially these posts get either no response or are also attacked.
Is the PoE community really that toxic? Or can it do better? I wonder.
Maybe I'm braindead, but I think your thread is toxic too.

EDIT: I was right.. You continue to bump the thread with discourteous words in response to your critics, perpetuating the toxicity cycle.
You don't have a platform when you're a fucking hypocrite.

Easy: look at their avatar, support list, and account creation date. You'll find out that the toxic and crybabies are all new players.

Can you quote something from this thread that I said that was toxic?

You make a fair point, but the only inflammatory posts that are removed are ones made by someone criticizing GGG. They let people supporting them call people everything under the sun with no repurcussions.
