Respect the Devs for god sake!

Why? We payed years for a PoE 1 upgrade, then in the last minute they say "hey, fuck you all, we gonna make another game totally different of PoE 1"

Respect is earned.

Don't forget -res, so your gear becomes less effective for no reason instead of having more interesting stats that can compete for a spot on your gear.

Yet another person pointing out how shitty resistances feel.

I made a post talking about how resistance scaling is super messed up and could be simply made way better.

Also, replying to the OP: Bit angry, but yeah on death effects are really lame modifiers. I don't have as big of an issue with specific enemy types that are designed to have death effects though, as they are easily identifiable.
too mutch fps loss for this effect.
+1 minus the aggression, but understandably so.

I'm pretty sure Jonathan even mentioned during one of his Q&A's that they were going to dial the on-death effects way down.

I've never really liked them, and I heard Asmongold recently put it in a way that resonated with me that on death effects make sense for certain mobs, I.E the big bitches that blow up it just makes sense. They're puffing up and Pop. That makes sense and it's visually acceptable, my brain will register that this monster will in fact do something as it dies. But 99% of the time i'm not thinking about a little flower blowing up or a beetle somehow one shotting me because I killed it.

I think if they're going to keep certain on death effects it should be very obvious and telegraphed &&&& the most important part is that it should NOT be a one hitter.

For example,

Zombies releasing a poison cloud that slowly widdle you down, totally acceptable.

Scarabs that drops shocking ground after it dies, totally acceptable

Pretty much anything that could obviously fit the fantasy minus one shotting you...

Help me list them, don't wanna miss one

* Flame Blast
* Ice Blast
* Chaos poison puddle
* Chaos homing balls
* Chaos exploding crystals
* Burning ground
* Exploding Mob
* Exploding corpse
* Fire homing balls
* Lightning Man (On hit = On death)

There's also the burrower homing mines now. Red little fuckers...

Just now died in a pack of mobs that had exploding Ica Blas circles.
Dodge rolled into the pack, killed it in 1 hit, dodge roll fell short to roll out ... I guess folk just have to not play melee ^^

Lol if you're really keeping track it's important to note they can render completely under grass and stuff to be 100% invisible, not just obscured by enemies/etc.

Oh yessss !!!! With new and improved grass in the jungle maps, good luck seeing mobs, forget about seeing what's under them once they die > .<

Don't forget the big fat guys that explode 5 seconds after you kill them. I always forget about it because they had died so long ago, I keep thinking I'm in the clear.
You know you can just dodge out of the way...wait for the mod to do its thing...and then get the loot right?

how many times do you have to die to it before you learn?
