The same thing has just happened to me as well.

Happened to me rn, djinn dropped a coin, but there was no dialog to be had with the NPC on the Transport. Quest remaines active even after fully clearing

been grinding new tokens and trying different approaches - nothing works, the asendancy quest is bugged and finishing trials gives no points
|

supposedly you need a lvl 60 coin, to do the 3 floor version for points 5&6. saw a YT vid where it was recommended not to attempt until lvl 70 or so
