Honestly the only unique even remotely useable is the chest. The downside is you might as well use a 4L defensive chests up to level 31... Since most of the support gems aren't open that early.

But I don't know, I would still opt to use the crummiest 5L that anyone can buy for 1gcp because of it's stats. It's still a great idea for a unique, way better then the other 3.

Also people need to understand that staff... If you have say + physical damage rings/neck etc all of that damage is also multiplied. It's kind of like a staff version of facebreakers.

Your calculations are also wrong. The strength scaling on the staff is increased weapon damage, meaning it increases the base that things like passive nodes and strength work off of. Still isn't that great as you can get it to about 300 damage with roughly 600 Strength. Compared to other 2-handers that's pretty bad because they can get a lot more, and lot of other stats as well.

Disappointed by this set of uniques, including those robes.

If you can be disappointed by that robe, then I don't know what to say...

That is by far the most "Unique" Unique, with a clear design and concept that can be appreciated. Heck I want one just so I can leave it in Stash just to gawk in awe at it's splendor!

I love Tabula Rasa if anything because of the testing capabilities. If you want to try a wacky combination of skills, it seems it's made exactly for that!

Let's start brainstorming. Lvl 12 is the earliest level required to use support gems. Here's the list of Support gem at lvl 12:

- Added Fire Damage
- Life Gain on Hit
- Weapon Elemental Hit
- Added Cold Damage
- Additional Accuracy
- Faster Projectile
- Fork
- Added Lightning Damage
- Increased Critical Damage
- Minion Life

Pick any skill <lvl 12 and start your crazy combination

(I think it can cap at around 4 APS which then makes this staff pretty viable with its 300 physical damage, depending on the skill you use)

But you forget the attack speed scaling. I already made a theory build with around 700-800 dex and 700-800 str which would scale quite nicely in terms of aps and dps. Though Astramentis is a must for that Staff. Also 800 dex would get you 80% increase in attack speed, but with the help of a few nodes, faster attacks and a few items, I'd get around 150-200% which would in turn make this staff the fastest staff out their and the most build dependent. I'd say this staff fascinates me..
