Yes, I know that one of the diamond supporter was asking for a unique map. Now, I have no idea if that map was put in the game or noth.

About the claw, I don't think it's usable as a shield substitute.

I might be wrong but, IIRC you can only use ground slam if both of you have only maces equiped, or atleast that's how it works with whirling blades, and some other skill that requires swords.

And the block doesn't apply unless you're using two claws, so both things that would've made it viable are gone. :P Ofcourse I might be wrong.

any sighting of neokolzia's shield yet? I can't wait to give that thing a try in an ES-block templar build.

Been looking relentlessly...don't have the best chance for it though, I don't run MF gear. I think the only MF I have is like 15 IIR, haha.

You're wrong on one count.

Whirling blades alternates hands (well, randomly picks one of the two hands to deal damage) when you attack with it, so both weapons must be eligible for the skill. Don't take my word for this, you can make a level 3 marauder with a driftwood club and a nailed fist with ground slam and test this yourself.

I misread the claw and thought it was 10% dual wield block (in general), not with claws (which it is). Sorry about that. So it's only 15% block, 10% aspd, and Ghost Reaver. Less viable, but still worth trying (since a 1h mace can still pump out some serious damage, enough to keep your eshield topped off).


EDIT: Using this to keep your eshield high means you get full benefits from "on full life" effects like melee physical damage on full life support, shavronne's pace 35 mspd, etc.
