Also, what are the stats on default punch? I thought it was something like... 3-5 physical damage, 1.00 attack speed, 5% crit. Anyone know?

So what's your DPS with them on and unarmed? Comparable to DPS with a weapon?

Loving these new uniques. Facebreaker is cool! :)

I'm on hardcore AND running a witch, so I've not experimented with them yet. I don't really have anyone suitable left in HC to test them with, but I'll try playing with the gloves later. Maybe post a youtube video.

does unarmed attack speed benefit from generic 1h or dual-wield attack speed nodes? EH would scale much better with attack speed than %IPD unarmed.

You aren't wielding anything when you're unarmed, so I suspect only +physical damage done, +melee physical damage done, +attack speed, +elemental damage on hit, and +crit chance/crit damage work with unarmed.

Here's an idea: Shadow with CI. Use +melee physical damage while at full life in combination with elemental hit? Erm, would that even work? Does lightning strike work while unarmed?

Umm, I think frenzy works with unarmed - I only know of elemental hit for sure though. I know that works. But you could do:

Frenzy + CI + Damage at Full Life + Faster Attacks
Elemental Hit + Faster Attacks + Increased Critical Strike Chance + Elemental Proliferation

You'd have to get a mix of strength, dexterity and intelligence and focus entirely in energy shield.
