Also, as for the shield, I don't have a problem with a top unique item being over powered.

My personal stance is if someone pays $1000 to support the game, then allow those items to be a little over powered. There's only a handful of people that are doing this, so it would be a cool memento to have 5+ years from now when the game has been out for awhile and there are millions of people playing to see some items that went in at the start still be one of the most powerful.

As long as it's not game breaking in that it allows for Godmode or something, then I don't see a problem with it.

One thing that would be cool is since people use Tempest Shield most of the time, have this unique shield interact with it differently. Instead of it looking like all shields that have tempest on, have this one glow red, or just glow differently. I think this should be like that for ALL buffs/auras that apply to unique items.

I'm sure these type of things will be in the store, but it would be nice if it were on unique items as a default.

Me and another person in my party each found a unique within 10 minutes of the patch. They really did buff unique droprates.

what is the hammer best for? still trying to get used to the unique items...

Just saw a post on NeoGAF about a unique glove named "Facebreaker". Comes with 814% unarmed damage. My mind is spinning thinking about how this would work. It also adds crit chance and ES, as well as being one of the Extra Gore uniques.
