Well, the less weapon damage means it would be a wash for most skills. Because of the nature of Explosive arrow, it gets double the speed without being penalized with half damage, which is a bit strong. Likewise Poison arrow will not lose DoT damage for this.

Knockback with King of the Hill, Knockback support gem, Projectile Weakness, and possibly Fending (if someone wants to cross the tree for it) will also be incredibly, stupendously strong with that bow.

Lastly, the on-hit effects (shock on-hit with lightning, and life gain on-hit) will be much stronger.


Those are the only three abuse cases I immediately see, otherwise it's just normal double speed, half damage fun.

Also, the machine gun bow is going to be exploited like crazy. By me probably.

Also, for those people saying that Facebreaker builds require a shield... What about a Quiver? Wouldn't Facebreaker + quiver be a good combination?

Facebreaker + Blackgleam + elemental damage bonuses would work well with Elemental Hit.
