Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

Quick update:
I unlinked Clarity but that barely changed anything. My mana is still depleted at the same rate as before.

I bought a 5 chaos wand with 100 mana since there was none below that price, tested it. Now, I'm 5 Chaos orb more poor but nothing changed at all, everything instead went even worse than before. Does Bone Offering give this build anything useful at all or is it just some kind of meme just to be a Necromancer like all the cool kids nowaday? Back to my older setup.

I checked my defences and I can't afford to switch to Cloak of Defiance just as I can't afford to switch to Unique Sloted Ring+Wrath. My defence will no longer be capped if I do. Foible and Inward Eyes give me no resistence and so does the Cloak, this means I've interely to rely on Shield+Rings+Gloves+Boots. I'm trying to see if I find a solution below 20 chaos but clearly isn't somethign I will resolve in a day or a week, probably i should stick to Tier 8 until I find a way to farm enough money to get an awakened gem maybe those will make my life better, wish me good luck since Heist end in two weeks.

As you can see, as long as you don't chase for too much, there are many good "in-the-middle" pieces that are huge upgrades for you.

Oh, those are pretty good. The Wand one is extremely good.

I'll still probably come again asking for help, tho. There still are a lot of things I don't know about the game, but I'm still learning.

Friend, no luck trying out the 1 chao trigger weapon? I don't fully understand why you went to buy a 100 mana weapon, that is not one to solve your specific problem.

You're expected to get resists from rings / gloves. You can forget about Unique slot ring + wrath for now, because that doesn't help your survivability.

BTW Heist end on 12-07, still a lot of time to go.

This seems a big issue, if you see your mana get depleted often, you either:
* get damaged too often so Agnostic triggers a lot, or
* have the mana cost of Arc too high (need to remove Chain support to stay in 5-link for now)

Yeah expected is the word, Expectetion arent reality. I know for sure since going for Wrath was in my plans that no combination of items exist that will cover for my lack of defence on the armor right now I spent the whole of last week looking for it or to upgrade my rings with Cerulean or Vermillion as Enki suggest but I will lose Lightining resistence or sacrifice my whole lot of Chaos resistence and go back to 2%.

Of course, I get damaged too often defence are useless in this game in fact I down't even understand why managing to get a Block Triggered Shield as far as I'm aware Bloocking doesn't work at all, this is how PoE works as much as I try to dodge as much as I can I get kileld by people out of my sight or one-shotted even when on full healt and mana. And let's not talk about when I suddednly stop moving out of nowere and I can't break out from it no matter what.

Clarity should be unlinked because linking it does absolutely nothing for you, other than hogging mana, which is why we point out for you. That doesn't mean unlinking it will magically solve all the problems that your current character has, no?

The mana sustain issue, in particular, can be solved by triggering desecrate for more corpses, to be used by Essence Glutton that you run your very first lab for, and by buying 5c Kitava's teaching jewel that you can socket *right now* if you unspec some minor nodes.

Why are you even buying a new wand? Your old wand is ok, and I *said* I can craft trigger for you. You're just wasting your 5 chaos, willingly.

Bone offering offers 17% block chance to us at level 20, more with alternative quality. Do you know why people bring block chance reduction gems to PvP contents? Because, surprisingly, block is good. It lets you completely dismiss the damage, and gives you beneficial effects on block, like recovering lots of your mana/health, while debuffing enemies even more. Glancing blow keystone is nerfed this league precisely because block is too good. Too bad you probably won't learn about how good block is if you enjoy eating damage yourself instead of blocking it.

You forgot that you also wear belt. I just bought a 1c belt with 81 res for someone here. Together with some 3c/5c boots/gloves/rings, it puzzles me how one can't find a way to cap res. Maybe counting is hard in this game?

Good luck on farming T8 to buy your awakened gems. I'd suggest awakened spell echo, which for 48ex only offers you a decent chance to do double damage!

Friend, can you share what your wand looks like? I think I'm confused whether the wand have "trigger a skill" attribute. When you have bone offering & desecrate triggered automatically, those skills can be triggered more frequently than you do manually. Both help your survival. (That is why I said this is game changer)


It is not realistic for you to go for wrath when you have survivability issue, we need to resolve the problems step by step:
* step 1: survive first so at least you can find fun
* step 2: get more DPS so clean up is easier
* step 3: try out high-end gears.

Also really recommend you to check comments replied to you, don't get confused about recommendations made to other people. You have some unique issues I believe we don't fully understand yet.

Also, if you're not following what we suggested, people who give you suggestions feel frustrated as well.

I doubt that. Desecrate reduces my mana not increase it. I die quicker when I activate it for mana depletion.

So you are proving that is useless since Blocking is useless. Thank you I was starting to think I was wrong but now I was proven right. Going necro was a mistake. I'll look if I can switch to Elementalist since Blocking is bugged right now.

I counted that too, doesn't change the situation. My belt is the best I can afford right.
