Ideally, it would drop intelligence for Spell Cascade in that hypothetical scenario, as it's basically the lowest value stat in the bunch.

Such a theoretical wand would easily go for 20 exalted.

I looked at your build, and you are basically at the point where you should start transitioning into Thread of Hope and the whole cluster jewels path, but otherwise you are doing fine.

Hello all, if anyone has a minute to take a look at my build I would appreciate any suggestions from those more experienced than I on what I should improve next, or, if I have made some substantial error that could be easily fixed. Overall things are going well but the DPS seems to be lacking a little.

Thinking about the Cloak of Defiance but also not really wanting to have to reconfigure all resistances. My current plan is to save up for a while and then to replace gloves, boots, body, belt, and one ring all at once so I can hopefully have an easier time balancing the resistances.

What is a reasonable number for chaos resistance? I think I might have my goal set too high and might be better served by allowing that to drop down some. Perhaps there are crafted mods I could move around to stay resistance capped but also allow the use of the Cloak of Defiance immediately.

Try to read our comments twice in case you missed something. English is also not my first language, so maybe something is not clearly mentioned there.

As for that additional skill point, you can check Enki's "Lv100 Passives". Anything that is missing now you can add that. One skill point doesn't matter that much when you're lv 90.

As option you can also follow Nyangoro's suggestion on cluster jewel. Since you're not comfortable with customization, I think it is hard for you, so ok not to use that.

I did spot one optimization error off the bat when I looked at your skill tree.

Namely, you didn't add a point to the +25 +10% Mana node just above Battle Rouse, but somehow spent a point slightly further above near the basic jewel slot for 8% mana.

The only reason you would do this is if you are planning to go for the jewel slot, but even then it's still more slot efficient than the singular 5% life slot(converted into 10% mana by Healthy Mind) anyway.

And if you are planning to go for the jewel slot, you should drop 2 points of life around the Constitution area straight away and make up the loss easily with a good %life jewel.

Could someone please check my build? Currently at level 69 in Act 8, and thanks to a very lucky Exalted Orb drop (my first one) I managed to get some new gear.

Before, I was struggling a bit with both damage dealt and defense to survive boss hits, so I had to rely on other gems besides Vaal Arc to lower aggro on me, namely the minion gems I'm using currently: Ethereal Knives + Animate Weapon and Vaal Summon Skeletons.

As the build apparently uses the damage bonuses for minions along with Spiritual Aid and Mistress of Sacrifice, they do manage to kill some enemies and even keep the boss distracted while I spam Vaal Arc and setup stuff like Arcane Cloak and Sigil of Power. Flame Dash is the thing that saves me most of the time if Arcane Cloak is on cooldown or when the bosses hit extremely hard continuously.


So, as you can see, I know I'm not running an optimal build. The thing is, I'm a new player; I started a couple of weeks back and I'm still learning stuff (the passive tree is still a bit confusing to me because you have pretty much everything available, for example).

Also, at first I was under the impression that most builds would seek unique items, but it seems that is not the case. Could you help me out pointing out what should I discard or change based on my current gear and gems? I don't really know what gear, like weapons or armor are good, so that would be helpful, too.

For starters, your character profile is set to private, so nobody can inspect your character.

You can set to public by clicking your account name at the top of the page, clicking Edit Privacy Settings on the list on the right, then uncheck the relevant options accordingly.

Sorry, I guess that was on default.

I think now it should be available.

Also as a late comment, want to check whether my build have any optimization potential, any help is appreciated!

Currently I give up nodes like:

* "Practical Application" (-25% Chance to avoid interruption from stuns while casting). I don't understand the value of anti-interruption yet, is it important?
* "Agility" (+30 Dexterity). Now I cannot change amulet otherwise that will invalidate many equipments.

Is it a good time for me to try out Thread of Hope?
