2.3 Fakener (budget fake Mjölner) build - Trickster Version

Doing CI Trickster and the stun is more of a hassle than chaos damage. Going to have to farm for the stun avoidance or dodge. Hybrid seems like it'd be a bigger headache though unless I'm misunderstanding.

Stun shoulndt be a problem, cant get stun while cycloning....u should be all the time spinning. I played CI Fakener most of the time in Talisman league, i coulndt notice any stun....besides the rocks in the path stoping my whirlwing..

Trickster is good if you have 6l Voll's Protector. Warlord's Mark have two huge problems: curse immunity and curse effectiveness. We don't have any problems with trash, only with bosses. And here we WILL need Life Leech gem to have reliable leech, because bosses will reduce your leech from Warlord's Mark to 0.8% because of curse effectiveness: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Curse . I tried it and decided against using blasphemy. Instead, I run 2 purities (fire + lightning) + discipline. This is all on CI. I needed to take several mana reservation nodes and mana on hit jewels, but it was well worth it.

Also, thing with cyclone is that, aspd can be bypassed by movement speed. So, you wont benefit that much from aspd damage-wise. Only on whirling blades speed. This is more QoL change, because whirling blades frequently blocked by some garbage...

Next, crit. I have >75% crit for cyclone and discharge. This is without charges. Cast On Critical Strike gem have cast chance of 70% at lvl 21. So, with this, I'm almost always at max power charges when I discharge. This means 95% crit chance for Discharge. With so much crit, I can afford to drop diamond ring and/or maligaro's and still reach crit cap on full power charges. Also, diamond flask wont help you kill bosses, that require you to fight for longer than 13 seconds (Atziri, Uber, Malachai, Ambrius).

Only major benefit of Trickster is ES. This is really hard to pass, but to match effectiveness of a Scion, you will need to have 6l cause you need reliable way to leech.

All in all, Scion vs Shadow is more like philosophical question. It all depends :) . Trickster will be better suitability-wise if you have gg gear and AssZerker will be better if you have any non-gg gear.
