A fun boss to fight without one shots

any boss bro i just want some fun fighting with fair oppurunity for the player

Fair is very subjective, and further complicated by the relativity to the players ability.

Without exception, I don't skip bosses. I've stubbornly sacrificed 60% experience to that principle on many occasion. As a result, I've learned most boss fights to tilt the fight in my favor due to understanding the mechanics.

This league, the only fight I don't know yet is Aul but I've only fought him once.

Skipping bosses constantly will just continue to fuel your thought about bosses being "fair".
Thanks for all the fish!
A lot of bosses here are not what OP requested.

I like Shaper a lot too, but come on! he has one/two moves that *isn't* a one-shot...

Solaris and Lunaris? Absolutely love that fight. Everything about it.
But that split spear is instant KO.

Kitava? Seriously?
Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun
yeah PoE is more about stats and numbers. i think time would be wasted to make complex bossmechanics if most people that actualy encounter them never see all of them.

Lost Ark style bossencounters would be cool tho

Hey I said shaper before none of his moves do one shot me, it was my loophole! But also a fight without challenge generally isn't fun to me as you just ignore whats happening and burn it down, Shaper (at release its a bit easy now) was a really nicely tuned fight, mechanically involved but didn't actually require backbreaking dps.

Shaper rarely one shots an average endgame character. His beam obv a degen so not one shot, cold balls arent one shots obv, only bullet phase (which you bubble in) and yellow balls can one shot. John is just saying things.

Anyway, my vote is for all doedre fights aside from the one in act 4

dangerous enough, mechanical enough. very fun for me if I don't have a lot of dps.
Oh and kira/garrukhan fight in act 9
Shaper is a nice boss indeed, it have a decent diff to it and take some preparation, it manages to be a end-game fight that is not just a pure gear-check

I dont think the elder is bad either, i just wish those danger zones the mobs leave permanently were a bit more visually obvious as they often blend too well on the gray ground but w/e

My favorite boss is still malachai tho(and my biggest personal letdown happened to be the trinity that you fight on that very same arena, ironically...)
Telegraphed oneshots are the definition of "fair" in my mind. Random crits from white/blue/yellow mobs, on the other hands, come across as less fair.

Edit: In a game where you can heal up almost instantly, you more or less need oneshot mechanics. But hey also need to be telegraphed.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

not every build can afford/use a zerphi's aquity so its not fair for everyone
