A fun boss to fight without one shots

Still fondly remember my very first tense 20min Malachai fight.
Still having fun every time i meet him in Act 4.

Started in Talisman, so not exactly the fight Nubatron mentioned down below.
(but on HC, didn't know what to expect, so tense fight for me anyway)

Shaper, with the exception of ball spawns when your doing the bullet hell.

I also genuinely like 2h Izaro and from the regular maps probably tunneltrap because he makes me pucker up and I hate that PoS from the days of early maps (if anyone remembers what an absolutely turd burgler this guy was)

Malachai when he was first released. Overtuned, one shot fiesta that took 40 minutes.

Oh wait, you wanted the opposite of that.

Tormented Temptress.

That encounter reminds me of the first Rocky movie, where he tried to catch that chicken.

I like that Kurgal or whatever. Seems nothing really one shots but definite some two shotting if you make mistakes.

As a serious(ish) answer, I always liked the Oversoul fight at low level before you're godlike and too fast.

It does have a one-shot in it, but it's appropriately telegraphed. The rest is not a one-shot unless you walk in there completely unready.

Without oneshots? Piety honestly. The lunaris temple fight, not that crematorium bullshit.
Chimera as a close 2nd.



With oneshots? Act 10 Kitava and (sadly not obtainable anymore) the fight against brutus possessed by Shavronnes tormented spirit. Or any of the prophecy enhanced act bosses really.

The fight against Kitava feels like a weird dance once you figured out all his moves and telegraphs. Too bad that he's sucha pushover in maps.

The prophecy enhanced bosses were really a ton of fun imo. Basically two bosses at once.
The fights were:

Brutus and Kole - Basically Brutus times two. Makes it much more difficult than one might think at first.

Brutus possessed by Dhavronne - Stormcalls and stormbearers everywhere, also brutus got quite a bit faster.

Merveil with a spectral Daresso - The Daresso was toned down to act 1 levels of power, still, it made things quite interesting.

Fidelitas and Maligaro - The extra area denial from Maligaro and his detonate dead makes it a lot more difficult to get close to Fidelitas. The fact that there's always a bunch of skeletons that get caught up in the fight and thus provide Maligaro with fresh corpses to explode doesn't exactly make it easier.

for me it was barrows map polar bear seriously the only honest and entertaining to fight boss without silly one shots

you guys skip most of the map bosses too since its neither fun nor rewarding?

Bosses are fun? WHat boss are you fighting that takes more than 5 seconds aside from Shaper, Elder, and Atziri?

Are you talking about leveling bosses? I didn't realize act 1-10 mattered lol
