One of the reasons crafting is so borked is that we use the very items to trade that we would otherwise use for something else.

The second reason is that it rewards RMT and who knows whos hands are in that cookie jar. It needs to be removed in it's entirety.

If only there were some item(s) we could use for trade that's already established in almost every single video game in existence.
Something that every player collects.
I would even consider something shiny.

If only there were something in the game to fit this role.
