This game needs to become more casual

Nobody is forcing you to play this game. If it's such a problem with the "majority" of players, then people will stop playing and it will sort itself out. However, that's not going to happen. People play this game over similar games like Diablo IV because of its complexity and its more involved mechaincs/gameplay. This game quite literally exists for the audience you deem is the minority, and has since its inception. Not everything is made for everyone, nor should it be.

lol lmao even

Literally irrelevant, as the game doesn't monetize retention. It monetizes returning supporters.

This! When poeple finally realize that it doesn't matter how quickly will players leave if they'll return next league and buy packs?
Concurrent player count numbers are used to support whatever opinion someone has about an aspect in the game and it needs to stop. It instantly makes people look defensively desperate and like they're here to win an argument rather than share feedback or an opinion.

"I don't like X, and I am correct, because look at all these other people who clearly also don't like X"

Meanwhile there are 2 billion variables that affect the concurrent player count of any game at any time. They're not you. Don't speak on their behalf.

You're allowed to have your own opinions without needing to recruit a hypothetical army of people not currently in the game to give yourself validation.
Why people don't understand that a game can be for casual player and for hardcore no life player at the same time ?

The game need to be way more friendly...

Too much currency just to force people to buy stash tabs.

8 Ascension points should be a fast campagne quest.

Do we whant to play and make build or waste time with useless read and clics... How many clics and types of currency you need to make the ultimate gear ? I don't say easy access just not complexe and random for nothing.

I can go on and on and on

I love this game but don't everything because it's waste of life time.

if they leave early then they clearly dont enjoy the game so why would they buy packs?

early is a personal opinion. for some people 2 weeks is enough game. It's not "early" for them. A few days would be early for them. Maybe that sort of thing is clear to me, but I felt the need to clarify that to you and the other squeaky wheel casuals.
I mean, people are explaining things and you still blindly miss it. I don't understand how one can possibly miss something right in front of their face except maybe in the case of extreme cognitive dissonance.

POE2 is a new game, but it is built on a lot of the same bones as POE1 and some people have been consistently playing that for a very long time. The way they look at and play the game can be vastly different from someone new to GGG's design philosophies.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.

This game is too harsh for casual players. Who would want to turn this on after a long day at work?

What are you even talking about?...The game is way to easy atm esp in endgame, with around 5 Divs investment and prety much basic gear you can faceroll T15+ without any problems even as a casual.

Knowing the ARPG basics is enough to do so (Cap Res, invest in defense layers, invest in weapons/dmg, pick reasonable passive points & support gems, etc...)

The game has to be at least 3-4 times harder in endgame to even come close to your complains here.

The only fun part is the first time campaign atm that offers a little bit of a challange but even there it's super easy if you're mentaly able to press more than just 1 button on your M + K.

We don't need another Diablo 4 where you can 1-tap the whole game with potato gear while applauding yourself doing so.....the market is flooded with such games to please this kind of audience, pick one of them.

I do the same, after a hard day at work I play a game where I can go brain AFK mode...but for the weekend I want at least a little bit complexity & challange.

You can have more than just 1 game on your PC or console, pick one that suits you the best for the moment. ;)

At this point D4 is both more complex and less casual than PoE2. Just went back to it, and its miles away from PoE2. Much better feel, loot, no flippers who ruin the economy, no tripping over every single vase on the ground. It's a shame that they decided to go in this direction. GGG are trying to make a single player hack and slash of PoE2 not ARPG. I have no doubt that in a few leagues, we will have both shorter campaign and movement skills, because there is no other way to fix the issues they created.
