Unique’s Are trash in POE 2

The uniques suck.
I've been jamming this game for over a year now. We've had multiple re-balances and additions to the unique pool. Aside from some of the ones that drop off the endgame bosses, I've used maybe 10-20. After picking up probably thousands by now. If game theory says we need uniques to offer a unique playstyle, let's throw that game theory in the trash along with these awful uniques. I play games to have fun, not do more mind-numbing drudgery like I do at work. There's no problem with having SOME powerful unique items in the game. But 1% or less? You're just pulling my chain at that point. Let me have some FUN! Take these training wheels off already. |

the game is too reliant on +skills and flat phys DPS. Your build is unique? Running vertex mask +4, amulet +3, weapon with 3-5+? your weapon doesn't have the mandatory phys/phys/phys? it's trash. rings don't have 2-3 flat damage? best I can do is 3 exalts. The game is tuned around thse mandatory requirements. Unless something is extremely broken then uniques are useless.

You can't rely Unique power only to one modifier? Unique items should be at least equal of the top rare items + having one unique modifier for the build. Poe series changed this rule that holds almost 3 decades and ruined the fun but also the build construction plans. |
