It's nice to see someone who represents the more casual player getting an interview. He was so hyped for druid I am glad it's this league. Hope Tri gets more interviews with devs in future.
People mindlessly hating him saying he doesn't play need a reality check. Just cause someone doesn't play 12 hour days every day like other streamers doesn't mean they don't play the game.

awesome! based on their previous interviews, Tri and Jonathan have a good chemistry. I'm sure he asks about the performance and the visual clarity stuff. And for Jonathan it must be nice to hear some of the more "casual" player questions rather than just the hardcore blasters asking for more and more juice and buffs. I think we get to hear about Jonathans actual vision for the future. And I prefer seeing Happy Jon rather than him being grilled to a crisp.
lol, yeah... whatever to keep Jonathan happy... Making the game good is secondary to Jonathan's happiness. fck no.

Taking the part about random person back. I just saw that he has 36/40.
Could we expect some question regarding worst retention number ever for the whole POE history in the 3.27 POE1 league. Could we expect some question regarding date of the release, could we expect some info regarding quality of delivered content in both POE1 and POE2 games?
I mean I would never ever will play POE2 until it will be at least a little fun. But as POE1 player I'm feeling like when you are delivering worst (3.27) league ever, ignoring all the players feedback and then completely moving on to fast announcing 0.4 is not a good move. Especially when you are (not me) were saying how good you would like to treat old players while doing completely the opposite?
Could we expect a communication between interviewer and Jonathan about some of that hot topics or it will be the same interview as previous with all that "Your visual is good, story is good, art is good".
I know all of that is good, but I would like to see a gameplay in ARPG, I would like to see how it's not lagging on top pc configuration, I would like to see an endgame, I would like to see builds diversity.
Weapons grade level of insufferable. It's a PoE2 promotional stream, go outside.
Looking forward to the stream and 0.4!

Please just make sure he doesn't bring Kalltorak on. The guy is a plague. Ruined WOW SoD for a lot of people who played with him and their friends, and he's doing his best to ruin POE now as well.
what's the Kall lore? I'm unemployed. Tourist meme was pretty legendary TBF, net+ so far.

Agree with everything you said except GGG don't write the questions, I know for a fact that part doesn't happen. They do however get the questions that will be asked in advance, and can approve/deny what they will and won't answer.
thats what i mean actually, i agree with you. This is how its done everywhere

Well, they are don't writing, but they are denying hard ones obviously. What's the difference then? I would rather watch a "cooking" show than default interview with some guy who will never ever ask a hard question. I'm curious is Tri ever complete POE2 acts at least, the only poe2 gameplay I saw from him is just random poe2 hc act1 things. I don't think he is competent enough to ask any question about poe2.
Expecting default points:
"Your game is amazing", "Druid is such a brilliant idea to add to the game (it's was shown in POE2 like almost 3 years ago already)", "I'm very like that you had that thing ... (something that exist in POE1 for million years)". Meeeh
And... sad part that current GGG could say a lot of different thing on the interview and words they say could change on the next interview and the next one.
So, there is be a bunch of stuff mentioned, but when it comes to development and keeping promises - naaah.
I'm still waiting how Jonathan or Mark will show how they are completing all existing Acts in POE2 on stream (it was mentioned on the interview after 0.2) XD
No hate, I just want POE2 be a good game, but do developers want it?

The most difficult part of being a dev, is to protect the players from themselves. What ''the player want'' isnt always what is good for a game, or any product. Feedback is good, but its not taken straightfoward, it serves a different porpouse. If they follow what players think they want, the game will be worst than d4. And this is not limited just to games, but to products in general.
This implies in some points
- Yes, its good to know what they are working, but they dont need, and they should not, explain everything or ask permission for anything from players. We paid the for early access because we wanted, we took the risk.
- They probably have a staff the reads everything in this forum ( not because its GGG, but thats how its done ), and they needd to separate the 98% trash posts and comments from the actual hidden jewels. For example - the async trade was proposed from a member in this forum, i saw the original post. The player wrote a complete and detailed text about his idea, and guess what, they took the idea to the big boys. But 99% of this forum is trash talk and emotional posts of ppl who do not understand anything from how a good product is made.
- Yes, this interview has every question previously approved by GGG. Its is healthy for the game that this event is meant to give us some info while raising their morale, not the opposite. Its not meant to leave them in the hands of an angry and emotional player who will burn them alive. I know that some ppl like this stuff, well, because ppl are ppl, they are strange, but that wont bring anything good for the company, so, why do it.
- Think about what you said, if devs want to make a good game. It has no sense. Of course every dev wants to make a good game, because that will bring them joy, reputation and money. What they DO NOT want, is a player trying to diminish their life's work.

Excited for the reveal and to hear the interview! Despite all the cringe in the comments the fact that ya'll are out here doing interviews and engaging with a community that can be so explosive and toxic at times says a lot about ya'll's passion for the game!
See you in .4!

Still no teasers for 0.4? That's crazy
Making up for the entirety of 0.3 getting leaked before the stream.
