[3.28] Tiger King - Dominating Blow of Inspiring - Farrul Bloodline Guardian
|
i think necro would take commander of darkness and mistress of sacrifice, the more minion damage on mindless aggression won't apply to dominating blow (only takes INCREASED minion damage). this leaves 4 points for farrul...
necro could potentially drop farrul for corpse pact but would require a lot of corpse consumption which is probably not doable without spellslinger's frequency of triggers (as in current necro kboc) it also would have to solve for all the lost flat damage from elemental relics which i think is the biggest problem |

looking forward to playing this next league, pob looks great and the budget one you posted gives a lot of room to transition. going to start absolution until at least in the 80s and then will consider if transitioning straight to aegis bonemeld CI or something resembling the life budget build makes sense

" Yeah, unfortunately at this point our actual phys scaling has dropped to the point where HoP and Hatred scaling are pretty negligible all things considered. I do really like Anarchic and it provides phys immunity with its conversion, but it also makes it much harder for us to get mana leech for the same reason, needing to rely on a Fuel the Fight Megalo. And with the loss of ele reflect immunity from Awakened EDWA we'll need to actually filter our maps now anyways instead of running all map mods w/ Risk scarab. Elegant Foil (or another 1.6 aps low-dex req foil) should still provide us with enough phys dmg to sufficiently mana leech with a Viridian % physical attack mana leech jewel. (or top-end a synthesized implicit on a cobalt/cluster) But also provides a bit of crit multi and drops our dex requirements by a bit. Edit: also added my WIP PoB with some new tech and changes, managed to get theoretical DPS back above 100mil w/o Grafts and significantly increased our eHP. Good stuff! Hopefully the exceptional EDwA provides reflect immune at max level, but we'll need to see. I recall something about reflect immunity/reduction being easier to obtain now on the passive tree, but I may be remembering the content reveal wrong.

Since in 3.28 templars start with Holy Strike, could it ( in theory of course ) be good alternative for leveling compared to Absolution?
|

" For sure! I'll be trying it myself until at least lvl 12 when we get Absolution. The damage numbers look NUTTY though, has some serious potential if it doesn't feel too clunky. Absolution is just our safe fall-back since it's historically been a good leveling skill. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Gerrador#4355 um 03.03.2026, 14:27:53

Any plans for your absolution PoB? I'm curious what I could get away with without having to do a massive respec

" I'm not really the best at speedrunning the campaign and optimizing A1-10 builds, so I'd recommend checking out other build guides or content creators for more insight into a proper Absolution or SRS Guardian lvling setup. I could just link a thrown-together PoB and give surface-level insights, but I feel that would be doing a disservice. |

Just target one of the smaller minnions at merveil to get your 3 boys out. The moment you get to a2 I usualy go herald first so I get even more boys. Then whatever quest gives you living lightning in a2. I've not even linked absolution to anything yet. Earlygame's super easy.
I made a tiny mistake in my practise run, and that was to buy a dom blow of inspiring right when I completed normal lab. For as far as I heard you can only transition a gem at merc lab(3) to the one you want. So I'd stick with absolution until a3's done. Just offswap it into your 3 socket weps in the offswap. It's a complete joke once you get living lightning. Don't worry you'll get through easy enough. I went up for the regen + dmg minion nodes. Went through the life/chaos res for the other minnion wheel (That you can spec out of once you get inspiring because the gem does that for you). Guardian + holy minnion playstyle is super smooth once you get to a2. You'll see at league launch. That's my 2 cents again. |

Great write up. Full breakdowns of what all is needed for each step/swap might be nice, you have them in the writeup currently but its a little spread out.
What kind of atlas mechanics do you think this build excels at? Looks like expedition probly a no-go due to split damage profile. Thanks |
