0.3.1 Hotfix

Option to toggle the display of rare monsters on the map.
Tame beast is much less frustrating to use. If you know you know!
Ever since 0.3.0 and the update to the mapping atlas, I haven't been able to complete a map without a ridiculously OP enemy killing me two or more times in a row, regardless of whether I use a tier 1 map or a tier 6. I lose all my XP now every time, so I am no longer able to level my character passed 77. My character was NOT getting one-shot like this before this release.

This was super fun before this update, but now it's literally wasting my time. I honestly never understood the XP penalty on death on POE 1 and was hoping it wouldn't be a thing here since it's a perfect opportunity to get rid of cheap shots like that. If you must keep it, then you shouldn't touch my existing XP, but only the one being earned during the current map in which you die.

If it takes 10 low-tier maps to get halfway to your next level and then a random OP enemy appears at the starting checkpoint and kills you 3 times off the bat without chance (this actually has happened to me several times now), you lose all your hours invested in play. I personally find it a bit offensive that you would do this in any case. If I choose to waste my time playing and leveling my character, you should not be allowed to toss that time out the door.

I honestly wish this entire release to be reverted and discarded, along with removing the XP penalty on death.

For those who defend the XP penalty, go play hardcore solo self-found.
great changes... keep the monsters icon hidden or at least optional... game is way more fun without those..

remember the loud players complaining are not the majority...

please drastically decrease mob numbers and boost their difficulty... we need a poe2 endgame, not a poe 1.5...

endgame now is either screen exploding for strong builds or dodging the mob blob without understanding what is happening...

I remember Johnathan saying that this should not happen on poe2... the campaign combat and pace is way more fun then blob and numbers fighting at endgame....


make poe2 what poe2 is....

Please undo the changes to Whirling Assault, it's much more difficult to deal damage to single targets now, especially bosses.
Wystone sustain is awful in this Patch. I bearly get one from boss at end of map. Before i have 1-4 waystone from each one.

Someone have some atlas tree to bust waystone sustain?

People that think there's more loot in the game now are huffing copious amounts of copium - this is straight up NOT true.

I juiced about 15 towers with overlaps with 0.3.0 mechanics and I tested this against the current 0.3.1 mechanics - the current loot is garbo compared to what I was getting previously.

I'm now running a 240 Rarity Ritualist and getting close to nothing with triple Rarity Tablets + Local Knowledge for Water/Swamp biomes.

Why are Abyssal Depths hardly spawning if you juice nodes with Tablets/Annoints?
Why did you decide to make two games when it clearly is not possible and is an insurmountable task?
Why did you make mid-league changes/nerfs that resulted in a worse experience, despite saying you'd never do that?
Did you test this update? If you did, did you not notice that the game is significantly less fun?
Did you hire testers?

I have 5 pages more of these complaints but they quite obviously are falling on deaf ears (blind eyes) given the state of this forum.

Yet, I still grind, because (un)fortunately, there's enough good in the game to keep me playing. UNfortunately, I'm getting close to going back to Factorio or POE1 SSF until the next POE1 League.

Also, don't you dare mess up the next POE1 League, I swear, after 1 year of Settlers...

You always have option to put blue maps if you want softy gameplay.

Same thing i see here constant complains about Temporal chains or slows in general, but literally no ones pick slow reduction nodes or curse reduction on tree, only dmg, wtf do you than expect. Like srs why do you think this nodes are there than.

Same s-- with stuns, so much newbies complain about stun but ofcourse no one would pick stun trehsold only f-- dmg. So ggg destroyed stun that it is like non existent at this point, you canot be stunned even if you dont take a single stun threshold node lol

Copium. Quit defending the atrocious attempt at making a "hard" game. This game is NOT hard, not by a longshot + distance to the moon and back pole is this game hard.

The fetish of "hard" game is ridiculous - you're not making a hard game by putting in rippy dogpoo monsters/mechanics, absolutely demolishing HIGH END PCS with godawful optimization and calling it hard. No, its not hard. It is not hard full stop.

I die, I lose a juiced map, I slot in the next one. That's not hard. It is absolutely infuriating garbo mechanic that should not exist.

0 Portals is the absolute worst part of this game and should be deleted literally right now.
