Major Endgame Changes in Patch 0.3.1 for Path of Exile 2
I think the towers will be underwhelming with this change maybe you could add the grand project effect to towers with the distance covered going up with the more modifiers on the waystone.Since the grand project isn't going to be working after this change. You could also add in rare towers that have this and the effect of vision of paradise just a thought. Happy for the change overall though because mapping is a slog right now

So you are telling me that in future I could:
pick my favorite map layout, lets say Savannah. buy quant + additional breaches tablets AND run it over and over again without need to path to another map ever? I will just die at boss and Since we all be running 0 revives maps only and we can repeat failed map and tower juice wont be lost, there is almost no reason (except maybe for cleared corruption maps) to path to bad layouts. ps: Boss isn't worth killing anyway, you get few more bad rare items and maybe one or two exalts.. OR in addition to essentially removing revives for endgame maps they will also remove the option to run it again after failing it... GGG be like: "Praise us, we removed towers you hated, but you remember how you liked the revives and failed map reruns? Yeah... sorry about that, we changed our minds. oopsie" |

Not sure I like these changes. Tower mechanic made sense to me risk/reward factor. I don't quite understand the removal of the atlas passives for the extra content. Now the only thing I don't really see addressed. Does this remove Abyssal run maps? are we getting abyssal tablets?

improve the drop rate of the good items!!!!!!!! you introduce all these other perfected orbs etc and we never get them! cause your item pool is so damn big, 1 perfect exalt in 100 hrs?! wtf u guys running here man, we have families jobs etc etc like dude I hate getting the same shit on juiced maps, I got like 4 of the same low ball lineage supports or whatever in a row on the same map! figure the drop rates out, over 800 hrs and literally I have had to buy for all the good stuff to make a build. not fun, let us play our own game without being meta chasers!

The problem is you directly delete the only endgame playstyle - search for multi tower overlap and stack the loot - without introducing new gameplay.
The endgame is tedious enough, and you even delete the only "interesting" but annoying thing. I think I won't have anything to do in endgame after this patch. |

but infinite atlas is still an issue"" Do you want a endgame that lasts ? or do you not want a endgame that lasts ? what... you want POE 1 style maps where you complete 108 and game's over ? you want to endup loging in POE 2 in your hideout not knowing what to do anymore running around your stash like a hamster for 12 minutes then /quit like we do in POE 1 ? infinit maps are fine as they are...
