That's just an entirely different game. With snappy movement abilities, and specifically designed bosses. Increasingly difficult encounters.

This kind of thing would be great, but how? Like... how. When you are talking about the depth and breadth of an ARPG this just stops working at a point.

Also, nobody signed up for that. You're the only one here who wants that game remade by GGG.

It's just another example of it's easy to agree the combat should be good, it's way harder to agree on what that actually is.

The examples you should be giving, should be based on the current iteration, via your actual gameplay experience. If changes are suggested, they should be changes that can be realistically made to the current iteration.

The combat pacing in this game has the opportunity to become really solid, up until a point. That will only happen if people start giving valuable feedback on where the progression actually breaks, on the things that they play. Wishing a different game into existence, is nonsense.

is it really? correct me if im wrong but every single one of 'build of the week' featured it- are those 'niche'?

and even myself- somehow i can't seem to avoid it, even tho i play exclusively non-meta and avoid such skills. i even made thread about 'vanishing dye' for HoB after realizing how enjoyable act 1 was without it.
my audio channel count is insufficient for maps and most of the time i cant even see the death animations of the enemies.

i even enjoy some games that take out screens of mobs, but the fkn clutter here is becoming obscene, and poe1 is absolutely unplayable to me, at some point it was even technically unplayable as the game often failed to load floor textures due to amount of mobs. no wonder some players watch YT while playing with their screen explosions builds.

i don't even know why i'm writing this because i know that the crowd that 'enjoys' this epileptic acid dreamscape is the one that will generate most profits for GGG.
I do wish to see "engaging, meaningful combat" during Simulacrum windmill event - if these hordes can be handled in tactical, skill-based way then I bet everything else also will. Nuff said.

This is a good example of an opinion that I can relate to and actually test myself in-game to see if I feel the same way, and I sort of do.

The problem is, this is in the end-game, past the point where combat pacing and integrity can really be balanced.

I would like to see more feedback specifically about the campaign and early progression on your builds when talking about the integrity of basic combat. If you want integrity in the combat in the game, then this is simply what needs to be done.
