Is GGG scared of nerfs or making changes?

In poe 2 melee is more dead than in poe 1 . Played 2 char melee and NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! . Played ranger and its super , much evasion plus range is great , melee , stacked res and armour and more squishy than ranger . ITS ISSUE !!!

We're missing most of the melee or mid-range weapon types and their supporting skills/buffs, while we have most of the ranged ones, so the current choices of skills/weapons actually help ranged characters the most.

A lot of items/skills are not aimed towards melee right now. Also, they gave us a mid-range melee class with a super fast weapon and a good combination of defensive layers through its starting position with the Monk (with ES/Evasion, and even physical damage reduction with the Invoker) and a super slow weapon using class with subpar Armour mechanics with the Warrior. The mace has some clunky animations initially, and this is even worse when we consider how dangerous it is to stay in place in this game. It's almost as if every weapon/skills family was developped by a different team that did not consult the others.

Let's see what the Swords, Axes, Daggers/Claws and Spears bring to the table when it comes to their available melee or mid-range skills.

Flail and Primal will probably end up with some melee skills too.

It looks like they were trying to make a slow paced game, starting with warrior, but then just copied everything from POE1.
With their current philosophy, melee will never be viable in the endgame even if they will have 100x times more damage than ranged, because if you can easily kill everything from afar, there is no reason to get closer .
I've uninstalled the game and am playing 3 other games currently

But I'll reinstall it and play next league with the reset because I've been doing that for over a decade. To answer the thread, no. GGG aint afraid of making changes. These threads will be a nice to think back on when GGG releases the novel of patch notes come out for the next league

But when GGG nerfs something they use to break the game - they nerf it for EVERYONE too, not only for the few ppl breaking the game.

THESE ppl were the ones who complained the most and forced GGG to stop mid league nerfs.

It just feels like Chihuahuas making most noise :D

I see the reasons why they do not nerf/break things too often. But At this point its too rare. Waiting whole searon is what, 4 months? 6? Cmon xD
They need to collect data after changes. Iterating at this pace won't make finish game in 1 year.

I know. Personally, I think if you "sign up" for the "Early Access" of a game, you have to "eat" every single change they want to make whenever they want to do it. That's how it is. But a part of the community thinks otherwise, probably not understanding what EA actually means, so GGG gave in.
