Is GGG scared of nerfs or making changes?
definely yes, GGG is afraid of losing players if it nerfed some broken skill/equipment. then can't show a good number to CEO/Board.
but this is EA, GGG should introduce changes weekly even daily |

" I mean, even someone in the endgame could have spent millions of gold on "amulet Alva gamba" and with nerfs and without a free respec getting hard locked. I agree, it's a beta and if they want to nerf/change things - they should, but a free respec does not harm anyone but benefits ppl who would lose their entire progress to deal with the nerf. |

" That's literally the opposite of what happened. GGG not only wanted to nerf/balance/change things more often "mid league", they did it. The problem was - when they did it - the backlash of the community was so big that they stopped doing it. Not some CEO said "No dude... ma numbers", the players said "No GGG... ma character". " GGG is intimidated by a group of players who using broken skill/equipment to make fortune. But GGG forget a fact that itself is the God of POE2, it make rules. if GGG don't fix shit on time, good player leave, bad stay. if GGG still fawn on evil, POE2 will be a trash game when official released. |

" What you don't keep in mind is - the players who "break the game" don't actually care about nerfes. Look at Jung or Rue, even if GGG would delete build X because they play it - they go to the next broken build and break the game again. They... don't... care. But when GGG nerfs something they use to break the game - they nerf it for EVERYONE too, not only for the few ppl breaking the game. THESE ppl were the ones who complained the most and forced GGG to stop mid league nerfs. Zuletzt bearbeitet von JakkerONAIR#4902 um 10.02.2025, 10:23:44

You people talk like game breaking builds are only reserved for top 1% streamers or something.
16k+ ES is something a casual player can get on SSF. It's not even "OP" by current standards, it's pretty average but it also makes you basically unkillable in maps barring massive corpse explosions which you didn't see coming because you don't care about anything anymore, which just shouldn't be a thing. Top levels is like slightly less than 30k and i'm sure some people had more. Stuff like that should absolutely be nerfed hard. Zuletzt bearbeitet von onetruelai#7327 um 10.02.2025, 10:29:45

" Depends on where GGG wants to go with the game. The 30k ES with "Grim Feast" seems a lot, but in PoE1 we could get 20k ES without having "Grim Feast" and even more life. Like... what was the record? I am not up to date on that, but at least 40k Life. If they let ES get so high they should buff Life by a lot. Or even better, nerf ES a bit and buff Life a lot. It's basically trolling if you play a build with only Life as hit pool. |

" They want to move all poe1 folks into poe2 and add a lot of new players as well. But new players don't want poe1 stuff - so GGG will fail no matter how hard they try. |

Skill/support/spirit gems should be purchasable. Respec is cheap enough, but I'm sure they are worried about new players who don't have tons of gold. They could make respec free just for EA up until like version 0.8.0 or something.
Then make changes every day for all I care. |

In poe 2 melee is more dead than in poe 1 . Played 2 char melee and NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! . Played ranger and its super , much evasion plus range is great , melee , stacked res and armour and more squishy than ranger . ITS ISSUE !!!
