My feedback about poe 2 - and why GGG should stick only with poe 1 and forget about poe 2
" brother, it's less than 2 months in early access, this is not a "release". if you are let down that is solely because of your expectation and nothing else. They literally said at the start that only 3 months of work has been put yet into endgame and there is much to do. I don't know what else they can communicate? Obviously the most feldged out mechanic is breach. The monsters are good, the mechanic is fun, the spinter amount is balanced so you can regularly attempt Xesht, Xesht is an amazingly designed and balance boss without cheap one-shots and unfair mechanics, etc. Give them some time. Let them cook. this is version 0.1.1 |

" I'm disappointed because I know that six years is quite off for what we got. I'm pretty certain most the classes are finished or near finished and just being held back for player retention. They also made a lot of mistakes PoE1 already made. It's not even end-game. The skills/ascendancy options, designs and purpose are awful. I started as an Infernalist and the class has 2 good nodes out of 13. Fire is also terrible. Then I tried Deadeye. Escapist shot is a waste of time because I can move faster, not dodge. Just move. There's just so many flaws and bad designs on a base level I find it embarrassing. EDIT: Oh I also I meant release as in any iteration of development. I'm aware this is a beta potentially alpha state. I just still find it lacking for the amount of time invested. It's strange how they still defend the mechanics of just 1 portal, it must be from people who barely get past t1 maps... Anyway, there is some feedback that was left to be mentioned: Some said that poe 1 was overcrowded with leagues and mechanics, and that it should be Cleaned up poe 2. This is completely wrong, now watching the poe 2 endgame, I realized that the more leagues, the more mechanics, the more variability for the maps the better. Each map thus becomes unique in its own way. Of course, there's no point in having 9 mechanics on a map if for some stupid reason you die in the first pack of monsters and lose the map, so again... the mechanic on just one map MUST be removed.

Actually GGG should work on POE2 and stop supporting POE1.
I like POE2 more than POE1 to be honest. |

" And what is often not said aloud is that they don't have six months to work on it. They literally burned the bridge to the only game they have which is a success - Path of Exile 1. Anyone who runs a business knows not to kill your most popular product over a unfinished and bad product. The amusing thing is that the trolls kept saying this is a good product, as if it is completed. Some of these trolls really expect the numbers to remain the same over the next few months. Reality is going to hit them hard when more and more people start to realize how little the game has changed from this EA. Zuletzt bearbeitet von DutchMilk#4689 um 04.02.2025, 05:09:45
