Jonathan is one of the main guy, so it's not true. That being said, yes in March 2024 the 3 remaining stock holders sold their shares to Tencent, making them the sole owner of GGG.

As for Chris, I'd really like to know aswell. I've never seen anything official what he's up to now. Last thing he said was that he was running PoE1s development and all of a sudden it was given to Mark. Not to be heard of Chris ever again. I assume he left the company, but who knows.

/edit: I don't want to throw shade, but if Chris really left and Jonathan is responsible for ressources now I guess we can see why stuff is going sideways. Chris was doing a good job with that as long as I can remember.

The question is who is steering this ship? It seems to be going nowhere...

It's clear that they don't want us to play Poe, because they haven't released 3.26, nor have they recycled a previous league, nor have they made a league like "Legacy" that brings together parts of other leagues as brilliantly as that league did. .. Why? Because they want to force us to play Rutless-2, and as a free person that I am, I have decided after trying it and seeing where it takes us not to play it.

wiki says that Tencent became Wholly-owned in March 2024

People still say Chris is somehow involved, but whistleblower chat from reddit guy said Chris wasn't in the office for a whole year.
Honestly it's bad just from the point of loyalty, he couldn't even announce his departure to not interfere with sales of early access packs.........

i was told they (bex+chriss) left due to the outrage over ex:div swap.
