High latency spikes in Path of Exile 2 - Need help

My game still freezes at random,sometimes mid-breach and sometimes just running the normal map, and the ping spikes into the tens of thousands before disconnecting randomly or crashing outright. Every time this happens, I lose the map (says attempted) and everything that was in my inventory.

I've noticed no common issues when this occurs and have no issues in any other game including PoE 1.

Have gigabit internet, 5600x + 32gb RAM & 4080s if it's relevant. Texas gateway.

This is an extremely frustrating bug/issue since it messes up the map progression, makes it annoying to play the game instead of it being fun. Always worried I'll randomly lose the entire map that I spent an hour or 2 getting set up :(

Edited to add: I've tried all fixes listed here and this issue still occurs seemingly at random.

I have the same issue in POE2

EU Servers are ALL unplayable .. Lagspike over lagspike

Same issue. Lag spikes since second or third week. Network ping goes from 12-13 ms to 2-3 seconds. Died a few times since screen is frozen for a few seconds. Tried running it in performance mode, no change. Emptied video card cache, updated all drives.

Game crashed while doing a regular map with a breach on it. Didn't do the breach and was running around when the crashed occurred. Lost all my inventory including 1 divine orb.

Hope GGG fixed the issue soon, if not, will likely ask for a refund until this is fixed. Can't have your screen freeze for multiples seconds on endgame content, especially with 1 shot mechanics and on death effects.

Turning off cpu core 0 completely removed my latency issue, that I have been dealing with for the last 3 weeks.

Got the same problem. Ping between 30-400ms makes it nearly unplayable.
Usually starts getting worse afternoon/night.

Same here. Network spikes (up to 2000 ms), while constant ping to google shows nothing. Switching servers do nothing most of the time. CPU Core affinity doesnt help

I did this lets see tonight if still gonna be lags but this is problem from server not from us. Period.

Don't play via WLAN even worse WLAN USB

Buy LAN Cable and connect it to your router.

Only WLAN gives Spikes.
