Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access
I just want to went a bit: I have been having issues with network lag since the start, sometime 1 map works perfectly and then the next on has ms between 50 an 20000 constantly, without breaks. sometimes when I die and respawn it magically works, mnost of the time it doesn't help.
I have tried everything possible to resolve the issue on my side. It is just so frustrating trying to enjoy my favorite game and being unable to. And yes, the issue is 99% there on weekends :D just when I have time to play |

Well everybody mocks D4 but being able to login to the game is something I actually care believe it or not. 3 weeks in and I have infinite loading screens half the time. It is enough. I am leaving the season.

Ok, so i've been having this issue for weeks now and ive tried just about everything to fix it.

Subject: Critical Performance Issue – Game Locked at 20 FPS (PoE2)
Dear developers, I would like to report a critical performance issue I’m experiencing exclusively with Path of Exile 2. Despite running the game on a high-end system, the framerate is constantly locked at 20 FPS, making the game nearly unplayable. Here are my system specifications: • CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER • RAM: 16 GB DDR4 @ 3200 MHz • Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit • GPU Drivers: Latest version installed • BIOS: Updated to the latest version The issue persists in every area of the game, regardless of graphical settings or resolution. Even when all settings are set to the lowest and resolution is reduced, the framerate remains locked at 20 FPS with no improvement. I’ve tested both the Steam and standalone versions — the problem occurs in both. Other games and applications run smoothly and perform according to the capabilities of my hardware. This issue appears to be isolated to Path of Exile 2. It’s important to note that on Day 1 of the beta, the game was running at 180 FPS without any issues. The problem began only recently, and I’ve seen multiple players with similar setups reporting the same experience. Unfortunately, this bug makes the current league completely unplayable for users with this configuration. I have already reported the issue in the bug report section of the forums, but no developer has responded yet. I am available to provide logs, screenshots, or any other technical data that may help diagnose the problem. I hope this message helps bring attention to this serious issue and supports efforts toward a fix. |

Yeah, I played diablo for the last 7 days. Level 60 paragon 154 right now. ZERO, I mean literally zero times it lagged or stuttered. Sooo.. Was it my graphic card driver or my connection causing the problem that doesn't exist?

The severe lag issues exist since the launch of Early Access in POE2. They are known to be truly problematic on European Servers. Even Jonathan talked about it in one of the official statement vidoes of GGG. He blamed the issues on DDoS Attacks which are very common though and goood or basicalley all servers have systems installed to protect them against those.
Early Access costs money is not for free and GGG has a VERY EXPENSIVE and VERY MANDATORY microtransaction shop installed. A very succesfull one too. To top it off they got none other than Tencent backing them. So access to cashflow to get decent serers hardly can't possibly be the issue here right? I know that the infrastructure in Germany is truly bad when it comes down to internet connections but not that bad that no other gaming studio in the world wasn't be able to solve it for good. To be fair this season is the very first season I can play the Sekhamas challange without constant severe lag spikes. Problem here though is the whole game especially on EU Servers is FAR TO PUNISHING for the constent lag issues the game has. Since the latest patch and it was in a bad state before the game has become totally unplayable. I can't play or even finsih a single map without occuring lag spikes bringing my input behind up to a minute. I started documententing the whole disaster and made a few videos of it. Maybe I can make a nice collection and put it online on youtube so GGG has the exclusive opprtunity to see the disaster unfold. I know it is not a personal issue because every friend of mine playing this game came along the same issues climaxing with the latest patch into absolutely unplayability. To charge the little fee the get access to the game is fine to me. But to charge so much money for mandatory microtransactions to even play the late game and then not even being able to reminds me of German politicians promising a lot and not even trying to deliver at all. Basically everything Jonathan promised never has been delivered or has been followed through with. Intentional meaningful fights? Why flush the screen with monsters to be wiped with one button then? Server issues solved? Really? I truly hoped I judged the character of GGG as scamming company wrong. Not only because I reallly liked the game. Because I hoped Jonathan not only played BG3 but that he would have soaked in of some of the Spirit Larian Studio brought back into the Gaming Industry. I hope you prove me wrong again. I haven't read too far back but I'm wondering if anyone else who is also having these issues is seeing packet loss from one of their hops through a Cloudflare IP or just major packet loss in general. A couple of examples:
