POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

I've been able to play with my buddy all evening without the whole pc freezing. Sometimes there is heavy lag 2 seconds while zoning but no crashes at all. Fingers crossed.
So far no crashes on 24h2/4060/7800x3d (latest drivers). Some days i was able play for hours without PoEUncrasher reporting anything though so will keep using it for the time being just to be sure.

This is me too. I just played for an hour and a half and the Uncrasher also reported no lock ups.

Issue is still present.

R7 7800X3D
4080 Super
Windows 11 Pro updated to latest.
Game is running on my 2nd monitor at 1440p 144hz

POE2 set to Default Settings meaning Multithreading is ON most settings set to High or Ultra.

Game is still freezing after 4-5hrs of Gameplay but is not crashing my PC this time.

Let me fix that for you. Game still crashes but this issue is resolved. Look at the title of the thread. Complete PC freeze. So if only the game crashes and it dosent hard lock your PC start a different thread.

I got a complete freeze of PC after this patch. It was right at the first cogweels before the login screen. So the issue is not 100% completely resolved. I haven't tested actual gaming and transitioning between maps enough yet so maybe it is fixed there.

Task manager still showing load screens taking my CPU to the upper 90s percentage. I wasn't crashing before and I'm still not crashing but it comes really close. Hope they can fix this still.

And whats wrong with that ? Thats the CPU doing its work isnt it ?

Kinda sad This issue still exists. Im not even playing anymore because it bricked my pc completely and Im getting BSOD daily since POE did few crashes on a system but the fact that this forum post have over 500 pages and still didnt get proper fix is so weird. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting on proper interest from developers.

If the game puts all cores at 99%, there is only 1% left for background processes. If those processes need to do any type of work at the same time, the computer will freeze. Right? Or at least, that is my understanding of it.

My cores still spike to 100% during load screen. Thats "ok" as long as not all cores are used by the game. I already got one complete freeze after the patch and I expect more sadly.

That's truly sad. I was hoping this patch I could finally play, but I guess I'll have to keep playing console.

What do you mean? Is it not working for you too? Based on the latest responses on both the major threads some people have clearly stopped crashing/freezing after 0.1.1c.
