POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Was able to play most of the day with multithreading enabled and then the game crashed to desktop. Not sure if it was related but after the crash I hard locked up about 20 minutes later and then began locking up consistently again every few maps with multithreading on. I'm on 23H2 for the record.

Task manager still showing load screens taking my CPU to the upper 90s percentage. I wasn't crashing before and I'm still not crashing but it comes really close. Hope they can fix this still.

This issue was removed from the known issues thread. Haven’t tried it yet but will probably still use PoE Uncrasher. It bring me peace to know people are saying it appears to be fixed

Can anyone confirm the fix works or does not work

so ggg launched a patch that MAY fix the issue (it didnt) and they think they fixed it (even if still occurring) and thats it? so pc freezing is a thing if you wanna play this game?

Issue is still present.

R7 7800X3D
4080 Super
Windows 11 Pro updated to latest.
Game is running on my 2nd monitor at 1440p 144hz

POE2 set to Default Settings meaning Multithreading is ON most settings set to High or Ultra.

Game is still freezing after 4-5hrs of Gameplay but is not crashing my PC this time.

Guess you’ll have to try it and see for yourself. It worked for me and some others from what I’ve read, but not for everyone.

Not sure what causes it to work or not.

Can confirm. Not a single hard crash since patch. Multithreding always on. Finnaly!

Doesn't work for me

i dont have hard lockup needing a full computer reset but it crashes to desktop a whole lot.

seems to be pretty frequent. i see ppl dropping offline when joining my HO for trades very often lol

also the graphs for frame time and cpu time both peak super high for each line of text that appears in the chat after a while. weird stuff.
