" Fixed several client and instance crashes. This includes a potential fix for the crash affecting players on Windows 24H2. Words matter here. From this statement, it would seem the crash issue wasn't some specific issue, but a collection of issues contributing to the overall crashing. This would be why "fixes" would work for some, but not others and vice versa. My take? It's progress, and a full admission that they're aware of the issue and actively working to solve it. That makes sense. This is their source of revenue. No competent company, and I see GGG as one, would make a game just to make some initial cash (while opening themselves up to possible litigation i.e. Cyberpunk 2077) and just run away. So, no promises THIS patch will take care of everyone, but if it helps some of the players, then it's progress and hope for more players. Keep making your voices heard to help get the game you really do want. Oh, and the character rename? Chef's kiss! Saved me countless hours of picking the wrong ascendancy for that character's name (yes, I'm picky about the name matching the ascendancy). I was tempted to redo dozens of levels on a character just because the wrong name for it would just make my eye twitch thinking about it. Works flawlessly with zero hassle. Reminder to use the "--ex-crash-report" to send crash report data to GGG whenever you crash. For Steam: Goto Library->Path of Exile 2 properties by right-clicking the icon->General->Launch Option-> Add --ex-crash-report to the box. I still gotta play it for some time to be sure, but seems like it fixed for me. Played it for a couple hours without even a normal crash, nevermind a total OS freeze. Now remember their are hundreds of thousands of players with different systems that are all going to be impacted by this patch and your response is rush it out or dont mention it so you can complain either way HAHAHAHAHA, am done Nyek, dude you're right but they won't listen to you. QQ'ing and yelling at GGG is what they can do. They even can't read more than one page from the topic start suggesting not working methods everyday. Toxic behaviour is one of the reason why GGG gives limited amount of information because it is always lose-lose for them. Well,as someone with the issue only on 24h2, it seems fixed, and running about 10% better overall, the first load had the cogs lock for a good 15 seconds i thought it was crashing, but it loaded and now the loads are significantly smoother and the behavior in the performance metrics is noticeably different. it has not frozen even briefly since the initial boot since patch thanks	Beitrag von Xypha#3760 am 05.02.2025, 00:08:07 Diesen Beitrag zitieren
i actually haven't been able to play the game since the last patch, crashes a few seconds after clicking play :( tried these - deleting shader cache, deleting settings, all kinds of different graphics settings (both under Vulkan and DirectX). no luck so far. it used to crash similarly before this last patch. but at least sometimes it would work. Toxic behaviour is one of the reason why GGG gives limited amount of information because it is always lose-lose for them. legit, even as a user with crashing hourly and have reinstalled my OS 4-5 times now to see if i can fix with an alternate setting or what not. the biggest disappointment i have with poe2 is seeing the behavior of the community. the complete inability to critically think about the situation. the extreme levels of entitlement. and just general behavior. if not for my needing to check in for solutions i would preferably have never come here again after reading even 2-3 posts, from ppl going game bad cuz im bored after 200 hours to expecting every bug someone has to be the one ggg focus on and fix just for them. ive had to just close all general chat and avoid any youtube about it or it will just boil my blood with just how little ppl have thought anything through, and then you tubers rage baiting and storming it up makeing it 100 times worse. so now i don't crash, im out. gave the feedback, if ggg want more its going to be via CS cuz cbf even coming close to accidentally reading the brainrot	Beitrag von Xypha#3760 am 05.02.2025, 00:18:47 Diesen Beitrag zitieren
