Anyone know the exact increase in dps for Awakened Spell Echo? does it worth the 20ex that is going for right know? , POB doesnt change the dps at all with the awakened version, also any opinions in Volley vs GMP vs Awakened GMP

poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

Ancient Skull has "Minions have 20-40% reduced max. Life"

Not a +2/+3 Minion Skill Lvl

And you have not +2 Minions Skill Level from Necro and not 20% inc. Life
and With the Dagger you have not +1 Minions Skill gems / +1 spell gems from a wand

A) Put "Death Attunement" on you Amulet = 5 free skill points
Carrion Golem is pretty useless with Skele Mages imho
You need a Cluster with "Blessed Rebirth"


B)

With my Ashes of the Stars Amulet (18% inc. Reservation eff. of Skills)
I now can use

- Determination
- Zealotry (with Generosity)
- Tempest Shield
- Defiance Banner
- Precision Level Lvl 6

And have 75 Mana (Summon Skeletons 36 Mana)

My point was about inconsistency, not lack of tankiness.

What I described also happened in low tier red maps, with my necro spec and gear, so the supports had +5 levels and more health buffs.

They are doing fine now at t16 and atlas bosses with occultist spec and no extra levels (waiting for empower to kick in lol). Except when they get killed super fast by seemingly random enemies.

That, and the fact that in this build we are dedicating a 6L to the support minions, is what prompted my two questions.
For spiders, I know my setup for the support minions was not the greatest and still has some leveling to go but I solved my T16 super juiced problem for the most part by running awakened melee splash (lvl 1, 8c) rather than multistrike.

The DPS fell off quite a bit for single target (still melts map bosses in less than 10 seconds), but it works a lot better to instantly clear out dozens of small monsters from packs like the Super Harby which were blowing up my support minions. It helps with clear speed as well and I am basically sprinting through T16 maps on a ~5ex budget.

What do I get first for skelemgaes: 6 link (currently 5 link without critdamage support) or cluster jewels or ghatsly eye jewels?
Currently able to do shaper's guardians, takes about 3min at Minotaur, so what would be the better choice?

I tried that in a few maps, didn't notice any difference to be honest. Profane Bloom blows up entire packs instantly anyway.

One thing is for certain, even regular Harbinger packs delete my spectres and golem almost instantly if the minions get near (and they will because frenzy) regardless of map level. Meanwhile Burning Exarch didn't even scratch them.

If I dive into the Harbinger packs, I just need to watch my health. But there are other things that can kill me that don't hurt my supports at all. Idk, I will try to make them as strong as I can and see how it goes.
I like playing Skele Mages and have never played with Arakaali Spiders.

I have tested a bit in Standard the build and be not sure if I should keep investing in Skele Mages or switch to Spiders?

For those who played Skele Mages and now Spiders, I think on a budget Skele Mages is better in Mapping and Spiders scale better in Bossing on the other Hand, Spiders should be King of Simulacrum but maybe with way more EX in gear compared to Skele Mages.

Is Rotten Claws the only 3rd passive that pushes Renewal + Call to the Slaughter in front? Are there other passives that acts the same way?

If a mod combination of Renewal+Call+X also works, that would make it a lot easier to achieve/buy as these 3 exact skills are very expensive.

Edit: I've tried it out in PoB and these are my findings. If anyone can actually test these in-game and let us know that'd be great!

8 Passive Large Cluster, getting Renewal + Call to The Slaughter + [Random passive], only spending 5 points is possible with:
- Renewal, Call to The Slaughter, Raze and Pillage
- Renewal, Call to The Slaughter, Rotten Claws

Not possible:
- Renewal, Call to The Slaughter, Vicious Bite
- Renewal, Call to The Slaughter, Skeletal Atrophy
- Renewal, Call to The Slaughter, Feasting Fiends
- Renewal, Call to The Slaughter, Primordial Bond
