" You are right, and I keep forgetting that your complete build is with level 100 in mind - I am 90 now and will probably reach the mid-90's in the league. My base will be the level 87 version with one cluster jewel and I can comfortably take some extra nodes from there. DPS looks more than enough on PoB so I will take that extra efficiency and the rest will go into life since I won't have super minmaxed gear. Do you have any thoughts on Life on Kill versus Life on Block? I already have a good rare shield with life on block and I can't afford armor with life on kill anyway, so I will be going without Aegis Aurora for now. Life on kill is obviously better for clearing but life on block might be better on bosses? I like how your starter build is so easy to make, plays great from early on, and takes you quite far, but your endgame builds are fully minmaxed so there is a lot of room for tweaking as a player gradually works up to the complete version. " Clusters are awesome, one with "Blessed Rebirth" is highly recommended. = Minion created Recently cannot be Damaged ( 4 Seconds immunity) That is very good for SRS, Phantoms but also for Skele Mages with Fleshcrafter, "While Minions have Energie Shield their hits ignore Monster Ele Resistance. |

" does anyone know if the spectre pool made it into standard? i've asked many times in standard chat and nobody will answer or don't know. poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

How the heck do we keep the carrion golem and the 2 spectres alive in the spider build? Mine completely implode the moment I come across any decently juiced pack or mechanic such as a super harbinger.

" Mine get killed by harbinger packs sometimes too. Other than that they usually have no problem in t16 or guardians. The big difference is that I am still Necromancer, and I am worried about survivability too once I switch to Occultist. I don't have a Renewal/Feasting Fiends jewel, nor the two Covenant jewels, and I won't for some time. I have all the curse auras on and I apply Enfeeble and Temporal Chains (no Despair yet) so those play their part. I am still fine tuning the final pieces of the build so for now if something works, I keep it until an upgrade is obvious. That is 6/8 Necro too - since I planed to switch to Occultist I haven't done the last lab yet! |

" Your Carrion is Lvl 19 and Quality gives 10% life , Minion Live has also 0% Quality and you could give minions with jewels and on the tree even more if necessary. |

Running skelly mages, anything I can improve until I can afford the crazy expensive cluster jewels?
Also running amulet of stars, Is there any changes to what supports we use with the amulet? |

" A) Put "Death Attunement" on you Amulet = 5 free skill points Carrion Golem is pretty useless with Skele Mages imho You need a Cluster with "Blessed Rebirth" B) With my Ashes of the Stars Amulet (18% inc. Reservation eff. of Skills) I now can use - Determination - Zealotry (with Generosity) - Tempest Shield - Defiance Banner - Precision Level Lvl 6 And have 75 Mana (Summon Skeletons 36 Mana) |

On the topic of support minions, specifically for spider build but it applies to others too:
The problem is inconsistency. The golem and the spectres can survive most endgame boss fights without any problems, but some map bosses, harbingers, and occasionally random packs kill them instantly. This also means that healing on the minions wouldn't have helped. In every case so far, including atlas bosses , I could just go on and let the unbuffed spiders finish the map, or the encounter. This makes me wonder two things: - Will the support minions be practically unkillable once fully minmaxed? - If they are acting more like a win more buff and the spiders are powerful enough without them, is there anything else that could take their place? Maybe for added survival or situational boost to spider damage, similar to the vaal haste. Although I guess many people have been making similar builds for years and there isn't anything better :D |
