I think you mean malediction and profane bloom. Build is already using vile bastion iirc. Assassin's Mark is wasted because we're not a crit build. Herald with curse could work just note that it means you won't have that curse reliably on bosses.

What I've done last league when doing this route is getting warlord's mark on hit ring and dropping leech gem, warlord's leech was still enough imo, damage went up a lot thanks to additional support, and profane bloom made clear speed go throught the roof with winter orb clearing by itself, didn't need to actually channel icestorm to kill stuff in t16's. Was running phase run too so I was running pretty fast and worb was keeping up. Endurance Charges were pretty nice too, sure you don't have them on bosses with no adds, but it helped a lot against syndicate encounters. Now, new patch adds new es leech gem with really good damage too, so warlord's mark probably won't be as good, but it's still an option if you want to go malediction.

An even better thing would be getting gloves with enfeeble implicit corruption, but that's gonna be hard to find with stats that we need.

In that case, can we then go with Mark of Submission + Frostbite, then CwDT Ball Lightning + Enfeeble? That way we have a pseudo-"Damage Penetrates 44% of cold resistance" effect on our spells.

EDIT: Also, do we not benefit from the Zealotry aura?

That's a possibility. Just note that bosses like shaper and his guardians have reduced curse effectiveness on them, with new patch it's 66% (was 80 iirc) reduced curse effect and it means no int and no potential increased int corrupt on that ring, so idk if it's worth it.

We'd benefit from zealotry, but it's 50% reserved mana, we're already using discipline and herald/arctic armour. Could technically go low life shavs along with enlightens for more auras though, I've did it in the past to have enfeeble on blasphemy and it was pretty good. But it's really hard to fit all the gems then, we struggle with sockets as is.

As for the crit, if we can reliably create Consecrated Ground, that's an instant +100% increased crit chance, and we can easily get +100% increased on the tree. With Assassin's Mark, is that not enough crit chance to make it viable? Consecrated Ground also grants ES regen via Zealot's Oath.
No idea, but we now have a lot of points to spare, since we don't go to vp anymore. Also one could consider getting assassin's mark on hit shaped ring, with other beneficial stats like int if you were to go crit. Then again, crit chance isn't the only thing you need to make crit work, you still need a lot of crit multi, to make it worth picking over elemental overload.

About consecrated ground, could always run sulphur flask, zealot's oath might be good idea anyway, since VP is no longer blocking it.

Yeah, and since we don't need ES leech or ES regen from a Watcher's Eye, we can go with Max mana gained as ES while affected by clarity, further increasing the benefits of increased Intelligence and any life regen that we get from the tree.

The idea is to replace Void Beacon and Frigid Wake with Profane Bloom and Malediction instead. We don't deal cold damage over time and we can have Freeze Immunity from other sources, so Frigid Wake is not that beneficial for us. The chance to freeze from a constant Frostbite should provide enough freeze chance to compensate for the guaranteed freeze that we lose from Frigid Wake, and the % non-chaos damage added as Chaos and the 25% chaos damage detonation from Profane Bloom more than compensates for Void Beacon.
