There is nothing wrong with running Vaal Arc, it is just a bit harder to find a level 21 Vaal Arc!
It's gonna take some luck to get them from the beast though :)
For those interested you can drop the cards in museum and academy.
It seems from POB that enlighten lvl 3 and blood magic lvl 20 are enough to run both discipline and purity with the vertex.
Might even be possible to have blood magic lvl 19 ?
Could someone confirm this please?

I assume shavrone is not necessary at the moment since i have the solaris lorica.
Regarding the lightning warp setup.
With the 3 gems at lvl 20 is it fast enough to use like a shield charge spam?
Or should i stick to my quicksilver flasks?

So it looks like, according to Rory Rackham, that the 2 socket and 3 socket recipes are not in the game currently. This is what he had said about it:
"They were intended to be available as the first recipe, this’ll be fixed soon! We just have to test my fix to make sure it didn’t make something else worse. If you have the two colour recipe now you’ll automatically have ‘em unlocked so you don’t have to go back!"
So it will likely be hot fixed in a day or two (lets hope).
P.S. I should also say, as it does have an impact on us (we use corrupted gloves); that the ability to change sockets on corrupted items is coming back as well. Rory states "the ability to change sockets on corrupted gear using extra Vaal Orbs, no unlock required. Same costs, just not requiring Vorici to be level 8! RIP buddy".

I'm currently at low maps with no key items but that warlords mark ring. I bought some decent ES stuff for a couple of chaos, have about 6.6k ES and mapping with CI right now. I have about 2ex in currency and can't decide if I should buy a shavs+vertex and go Lowlife or just keep running CI and save the currency for one Poet's. I was pretty lucky with exalt drops so far, but other than that I don't have that much time every night, so either way it would be a pretty big investment. Any suggestions?

(assuming pob does calculations properly)
Wasn't able to have both purity and discpline without blood magic at lvl 20.
Someone suggested to me to use only two links for the frenzy and using a 6link stormcall on the chest.
Seems like a good idea, gonna check on pob and let you guys know.

Yes I have 3 red on my Shav's, it wasn't very hard. Trying for 4 green sockets on my boots seems to be much worse.
I ran enlighten 3 and blood magic 19 with HoT, and Discipline, not Purity of Elements.
Does the increased %attack speed on the poets matter? Do i need to get max(12%) attack speed?
It's not that important but it is used when we're trying to get our APS to around 3.75-ish. With the Frenzy support gems that give increased APS (Culling, GMP, FA) you should probably be able to get your APS just right (adjusting quality on the gems) without having the 12% on the Pens.
