unique items *no longer updated*

I think that the chest(the ci one) is a good step in the right direction. It allows more builds to be accomplished.
Just hopefully they keep making more unique's that do this.

It's important to draw the distinction that this isn't CI, or even close to CI.

It's radically different and requires different planning.

I would like to point out that this does not require different planning at all.
If you get this armor all you need to do is keep all the CI gear you have, take that one point out, and run the blood magic aura/pain attunement/RF combo to be a million times more effective. You run into chaos mobs in maps once in a blue moon and I'm pretty sure going from 300-400% base spell damage to 1000%+ base spell damage is worth adding some chaos resist to your gear. You can itemize for chaos resist with ES gear but you will never get even a fraction of that spell damage.

If you are going for a high INT build with ES armor pieces you are making an incredibly inefficient tradeoff now if you go CI instead of low-life build with this armor. It doesn't replace CI but it sure makes it one of the most unattractive options on the tree now if you can get this armor.

I have never seen a 1k+ ES armor piece since closed beta, and I don't know about any of you other CI users but I am ridiculously overcapped on resist because we have so few stats to itemize for at the moment.

Again, people seem to make the same mistakes with MORE/LESS. MORE/LESS mutiply off each other, they do not add to each other like "Increased" does.

Your spell damage (100% base + other "Increased" sources)*1.3*2.05.

You are wrong. 1.8 (righteous fire) x 1.3 (pain attunement) = 2.34. hence why I said 130% MORE damage.

like psychical,magic,elemental and minion or totem

Guys best way to use Shevron's Wrapping is to use Blood Magic gem and link an %mana pool aura or two to your HP pool to make yourself permanently "low life". Then use Pain Attunement and Ghost Reaver and do tons of damage.
