It's very special because it actually allows Pain Attunementbuilds.

So RedBreak and Pain attunement give a large Bonus of Damage.
I tested it with Auras and RMC that usully kill you and it takes Life like Midnight Bargain.


I also used some divines on it. Dexterity is the only variable value from 20-30.

that definitely is potential for things but very late item.

i like it, like it quite a bit. hope its level doesn't go up in ob, since this is a build enabler id be nice to have a decent chance of getting it

If somebody got some leveled gems and I would test FireTrap, BearTrap and some spells on Maps in HC Legacy.

But I think I will die since even with ES Eq on HC legacy i can push my ES only around 5k

Does it just have blood magic on the gems or is it supported by a blood magic support gem? What I'm asking is, does the mana cost/reserve of the aura change when it's in this shield (aside from the 25%), like it would when supported by a bloodmagic gem?

On Aura Gems it's like Blood Magic without any Multiplier(like the Keystone) and a level 15 or 16 Reduced Mana Cost Gem.

So a 40% Aura will reserve 30% HP like Midnight Bargain, you can also add another Reduced Mana cost gem that way Hatred takes even less than high level fixed cost auras with Blood Magic and RMC.

With Prism Guardian and good equipment it's quiet possible to run 9 auras but then you have to consider which ones help your build.

A Templar going towards they duelist Tree can even reduce it with another 20%, but the use without Painattunement and is very limited.

Am I the only one who think the flavour text of many of the unique items are awkwardly written?

heh, this new unique is cool. Great for building up resists if you need them, and great for the aura builds to.

I hope we get more nice uniques as time goes by.
